I suppose the answer is "depends on the country", well I've looked it up and apparently I am able to send money orders internationally, but is there any sort of weird laws I should be aware of with this or something? He can use crypto donations for the legal expenses after he cashes them for fiat but in the scenario the lawsuit fails to launch he will be unable to refund crypto donors. So if you want a guarantee that your donation will be used to fund the lawsuit and nothing else, donate to the escrow, don't use crypto.
