usually the N64 ports, when compared to the other console ports, were the worse ones.
- Gex 2 and 3 - PS1 versions are better
- Rayman 2 - This one is unique because even though it was made for the N64, the Dreamcast port is the one that gets reused (iOS port and 3DS port uses this version as the base), and winds up being the better version unless you count Revolution for the PS2 (which was more of a remake)
- Puyo Sun (3) and Puyo Yon (4) - PS1 and Dreamcast versions are better
- Mortal Kombat 4 - Either the original arcade version, or go with Gold on the Dreamcast.
- Duke Nukem 64 - lol why bother?
- Mega Man Legends - PS1 version is better. N64 version runs sluggish when there's a fuck-ton of things on the screen.
So unless it's 1st party, or the PS1 version somehow winds up being worse (South Park, Glover), there's not a whole lot to get out of the N64.
