I don't want to (re)buy the console for just one game, and have no interest whatsoever in owning a current gen console. What's wrong with just playing it on a 360 or xbox one?

I mean, you can buy one of those 360 s consoles with 4-gigs of storage and the game on ebay for less than the price of a new game today. I know it's something that's a pain in the ass to store somewhere, but it's almost worth it if the one game you want to play is dirt cheap.I don't want to (re)buy the console for just one game, and have no interest whatsoever in owning a current gen console.
I mean, if you live with a roommate or family member who wants the newer Xbox console (whatever the fuck they’re naming it nowadays) like myself and my sister, you could offer to go halfsies as long as you can play your older games.I mean, you can buy one of those 360 s consoles with 4-gigs of storage and the game on ebay for less than the price of a new game today. I just tried Luigi Raceway on 50cc with Bowser. Yoshi and Wario were behind me, but it wasn't an issue to where i had to constantly keep them at bay. Once they fucked up, I never saw them behind me again. It does a feel bit "off" as 50cc was identical to what one anon on /v/ reported--"playing 50cc and 2 ai were constantly on my ass". Hopefully that gets fixed in future updates.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t, just get some joycons and the ring+strap.I want a switch just for the ring fit game. Does anyone know if that game and is peripherals work emulated
According to the emulation wiki it doesn't work.I don’t see why it wouldn’t, just get some joycons and the ring+strap.
Pretty much all the regular torrent site are going to have a couple collections, but I would be wary the emulators contained within. Depending on the system probably better off just getting the specific games you want off of the Internet archive. I think the public ones im sending I got on 1337xAny good websites with Torrent magnets?
1 and 2 are good. The PS1 version of 2 is my favorite rendition of the game: most bugs fixed, and they didn't totally fuck the balance up like they did with GBA onward. This makes it a little grindy tho. 5's translation is ass. 4, 5, and 6 have bad load time issues. IDK how much PopStarter will mitigate those load times.I've heard that the FFIV port to the PS1 was pretty good, does that apply to the ports of FFI, II, V, and VI?
Not something you’d want to use all the time but definitely fun to play around with. The last time I really used it was a few years ago, so maybe it’s gotten a lot better? Now that it is out of EA how is 3dSen PC? Actually a fun way to play NES games or really just a gimmick?
And what might those be? I only know of nyaa for anime.Pretty much all the regular torrent site
Looks like a great compilation, unfortunately qbittorrent is showing no seeds. It's not a magnet, but checking for cdahmedeh's toproms torrent for the stuff you want is probably the best bet.
You know, I keep forgetting gen1 was a broken buggy mess of a game, but the list of bugfixes on this hack quickly reminded me of that.Thinking of my second ever Pokemon run. Played Gen 1 back when there was only 1 gen, via an emulator. I think I was halfway through Blue when Yellow dropped. Was looking at PureRGB ( https://github.com/Vortyne/pureRGB/releases/latest ); was going to do a playthrough of that. But I'm no Pokenerd. Any autists out there with suggestions? Looking for a reasonably authentic experience. PureRGB fits my autism well, but I'd be as happy playing the OGs. That ought to give you a notion of my desired range.
I’ve heard about that, lemme check the GitHub:Thinking of my second ever Pokemon run. Played Gen 1 back when there was only 1 gen, via an emulator. A “purist’s experience”, huh? That’s good to know! I wonder what the patch notes are like…A purist's enhancement of Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue based on the pokered disassembly.
excuse me whatFixes for Bugs I caused:
- BUG: Game has the potential to crash when you are about to finish the volcano events with people taking off their lava suits.
I'd just play through Yellow as-is, it's plenty good. Also consider playing Crystal.Thinking of my second ever Pokemon run. Played Gen 1 back when there was only 1 gen, via an emulator.
