Been watching a lot of old Cinematechs recently since they get the nostalgia really going for me.

My cousins had this, they got it in a yardsale or something with a bag of games.Neat, a Vectrex, that's a cool system, don't see the box anywhere though. Like a lot of old systems and games having the box really drives up the price.

You can tell people about the screen and they think they get it, but unless you see it you don't get it.
Oh shitAnyone else here go through old demo discs? Went through Playstation Underground's E3 2001 disc and really enjoyed it.
The Turbo Grafx-16 mini, Core Grafx Mini, and PC Engine Mini really became coveted collectors items less than a month after release.
Like holy shit the average going rate is 200 bucks for any of them. And here I was wanting a Core Grafx mini just because I have this really cool small CRTV(that was part of an old video editing setup) that it could have aesthetically matched with.
I thought nobody gave that much of a shit about the PC Engine shit in America and Europe.
I had a great time replaying demos over and over, there was quite nothing like getting a free demo disc with your game or in your mcdonalds bag, knowing you'd never buy the full game.Oh shit

I actually had this one before I had any PS2 games. Shit, I'm sure if I try it now the nostalgia will hit me like a fucking freight train.
I kinda miss demo compilations now, it was a great way to get me to try games I'd only otherwise overlook. Downloading demos just isn't the same, since you don't just get a bunch of random games thrown at you that you can try right now. I know they had a stigma, like "lmao who would PAY for DEMOS?!?!?!?!", even back before you could download them, but fuck it, I'd pay five bucks for a disc full of random playable demos. It's a curated sampler collection I can just pop in my system. It's nice to have something that pushes me to try games I'd never otherwise consider.
(I didn't actually end up buying any of the games on that Summer '01 disc, though I had a lot of fun with Red Faction, ICO, and MX 2002's demos)
It had buzz for the serious game nerds, so I can see how it would translate to the Tiny Emubox crowdThe Turbo Grafx-16 mini, Core Grafx Mini, and PC Engine Mini really became coveted collectors items less than a month after release.

Been a hot minute since I did mine but yes that's the best guide out there.I wanna hack my 3DS so I can play DS roms. Can anyone confirm how well the instructions on this site work?

My firmware is Ver. 11.10.0-43U.
I hope it leads to more physical releases of shit. I'd really like a release of the original Ys 3:Wanderers and Ys 4: DOTS. I think the TG16 Mini includes all the best of RPGs for the system. Not a whole lot of worthwhile ones are missing that I can think of.It had buzz for the serious game nerds, so I can see how it would translate to the Tiny Emubox crowd

After you finish that guide look up robz twilight menu.
People like you exist? You cannot play it via mouse and keyboard like I prefer to play my Souls games.
I decided to play around with this today on my Thinkpad x230 with an i5-3320M. Holy shit, I can't believe how far people have been able to take Dolphin. Like how the fuck can this dinky laptop run Resident Evil 4 and hold it steady at 30fps?
Meanwhile those asshats at PCSX2 can't even make a default GUI that doesn't look like shit.
I'll be happy if I can get it to run Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door. It just instacrashes Dolphin for me.I decided to play around with this today on my Thinkpad x230 with an i5-3320M.
