Ew god, that reminds me of when I had braces. I had to have a bite plate in order to fix an overbite, and one morning I woke up and felt a weird pressure between it and the roof of my mouth. I dislodged the plate, and I felt the unmistakeable form of a dead spider just sorta plop down onto my tongue. I panicked and ended up swallowing it.

I used to be like really into designing costumes, and I even won a few awards for some of my designs when I was a kid.
