Reveal something totally unexpected about yourself - Shock and awe awaits - Don't powerlevel

I found out I'm allergic to peppermint (like the actual herb/oil/etc., not the artificial flavoring in most mints or candies) the hard way like a week ago. Doctor thinks I've actually been allergic to peppermint for a while, but didn't know because I hadn't been exposed to enough of it to have a reaction.

I had my shoulder joint replaced due to an auto accident, and tattooed over the scar. and the tattoo hurt like hell. don't believe the assholes who tell you that tattoos over implants/scars don't hurt. because they DO.
Tattoos over joints in general hurt like hell, to be fair. I think it depends on each person's pain tolerance.

True. The tattoo artist told me that the surgery would have deadened the nerves to the skin over it. Hell, I was a dumbass 20 year old little shit. I believed her (honestly, she could have told me the moon was green cheese, so was hot so I believed her) and learned swiftly that she was so very wrong.

Despite my icon, I have yet to see I am Here.......Now. I also haven't technically finished Fateful Findings and Double Down. In my defense however, my friend randomly turned the former off because she was getting bored.

I'm very good with math and chemistry, but I cant write an story for the life of me.

I like cherry jam too.

The joint where my thumbs meet my palms is articulated backwards. The inward "fold" other people can do with their thumbs is impossible for me, but my thumbs fold backwards in that manner, and they generally move easier/more comfortably backwards than inward at that one joint. I sometimes freak people out when I fold my thumbs back at that broken-looking angle.

All of the other joints in my hands are normal. I have no idea what's up with my thumbs.

For reference, here is the normal "inward fold" that pretty much everyone else's hands can do:

Now, for my weird hands:

If I attempt that fold, what winds up happening is my carpal bone moves instead to compensate for the fact that my thumbs cannot fold inward like that. They can only move far enough to line up with the carpal bone then stop.

Now in the other direction:

Yeah I think something went wrong in the construction of my hands.
