"We're not gonna say wubba lub dub cause we're not whores."

But... I mean, you kind of already are...
Plus, they keep doing this self-aware (or actually, lack there of) stupid shit as a series of their shitty fanservice.

At least Robot Chicken used to be good until the mid-2010s and then shit started to go down, and that's also Adult Swim's most milked series. But at least that being good lasted longer than Rick & Morty. Nowadays, they are Adult Swim's two most milked series in the same way Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers are the most milked shows on Fox or how South Park is the most milked series on Comedy Central.

Anyone taking bets on whether or not Justin and Dan will make theatrical film release of Rick & Morty just like with what they did with Bob’s Burgers?

I honestly can see that happening in a few years.

I, too, could that become a reality just for it to flop hard like Bob's Burgers' movie. That alone doesn't sound surprising at the slightest.

I say again, *You're already whores* And I don't want to hear that's the joke.

You can only 'pretend to be retarded' so many times before it becomes clear that you're actually just a retard and you're only just pretending that it's ironic.

Technically Bobs Burger the Movie was a modest hit, as Disney had ZERO faith in the film but it made way more money than Disney expected it to make as far as not flopping as badly as they were internally expecting it to flop. Also, supposedly it did gangbusters on streaming numbers-wise, which shocked Disney too as far as the film having legs when it left theaters.

But I don't see Rick and Morty the Movie happening because of the way that Adult Swim tends to frown on movies after ATHF flopped. If it did get a movie, it would be either streaming only or as a direct to DVD release, so that Harmon and Roiland can cover their asses in case of it being a flop.

after ATHF flopped.
Aqua Teen's movie wasn't a flop all things considered. Given the film's same exact budget as the actual TV show, the film still made almost 5 million back worldwide, so that's not really justifying as a flop. Plus, Adult Swim has made Tim & Eric's theatrical movie five years afterwards with similar results.

New season started tonight. I kinda fell off a bit the last couple seasons, but I did actually really like this episode.
Everyone gets sent back to their original universe(Rick, Morty, and Jerry because Jerrberie they did take home the wrong one), we got to see a little of Rick’s original universe, turns out original Jerry is the only one of two people still alive in Morty’s original universe, and the Rick that killed original Rick’s wife and kid? He’s the Morty’s universe Rick. That’s why Original Rick came that that universe.

Anyway, Rick gets the family to a new place ala the Cronenburg solution, original Jerry runs into taht universe’s Rick and gets killed.

Nothing big and mainly a means of restoring status quo to a point, but I like the twist of the killer Rick being Morty’s actual Rick.

So some major lore drops

Remember the ending of the episode with Jerry being put in a daycare center for Jerries? Where Rick left Jerry 2 (from the universe he and morty jumped to in the cronenberg episode in S1) and just randomly grabbed a Jerry to take with back home and how they left it ambiguous if Rick was just joking? Turns out that he wasn't and the real Jerry 2 was left behind and ended up in a universe where everyone hates him, even Beth.

Portal tech is now gone for good. But multiverse hijinks can still happen though Rick fucks up and accidentally sends himself, Jerry 3, and Morty back to their proper universes.

OG Rick has a house computer with his wife's voice programmed to "haunt him". Rick eventually finds his way back to Morty's universe where he reconciles with Jerry 1 (Beth 1 and Summer 1 are both dead). Jerry 1 isn't sentimental anymore and we find out that Rick didn't crash into Morty's house/universe on accident: Morty's Rick Sanchez (who he never met) is the Rick who killed our Rick's wife and mom and has been living in a space satellite which Rick and Morty are forced to escape from. Killer Rick then murders Jerry 1 and it's shown that Killer Rick has a healing factor.

Beth/Space Beth have a mini-arc as they raid the remains of the Citadel to summon the time lost familie members home. And Summer is a complete cunt, favoring Space Beth over her mom and later admitting that she pitted them against each other because she could.

Jerry 2 is recovered but Jerry 3 accidentally lets lose a creature (I think a Shopkins creature?) that turns him into one, before he can go home, and the entire world is quickly infected and turned into a huge planet sized Shopkin. The Smiths and Space Beth are then forced to hastily switch universes: to a world where Parmisan is pronounced differently and where the Smiths were killed under mysterious circumstances.

Oh and the implication is given that Rick is pure evil towards Morty because he's the grandson of Rick's wife/daughter's killer and refuses to take Summer on adventures because she reminds him too much of his dead wife

I personally love the show, even when it can be kinda weak. Love the characters, enjoy the antics. Really enjoyed the premiere, lots of fun potential to explore there.

Hermit Jerry was cool too.

I’m hoping this season keeps the same feel as the first episode did.

The idea that evil rick was Morty and Beth's lost grandpa and was right under Rick's nose from season 1 is about as dumb and hastily put together as Rick's sob story being true from season 3.

It wasn't excellent, but the new episode was actually good with some nice gags and callbacks. This might be the most watchable episode in the last 3 fucking seasons.
