Because creativity and originality died a long time ago.
Everything is reboot or bastardized version of what came before and considering this is Rick & Morty, the embodiment of Reddit. We're going to get a whole lot of cringe.

I think the anime episodes they've been putting out use the actual Japanese voice actors for the original show, which is nice. Rick's Japanese voice is actually really fitting to his character.

Can't say I didn't see this coming. In 2018 Rick and Morty was renewed for 70 more episodes, so you can't be surprised that something with that much popular appeal would have a spinoff or three attached to it. And I do mean that. It's likely that something along the lines of a Jerry series and a Mr. Nimbus series will come to air as well before the original Rick and Morty series finally comes to an end.

We are about 40% through the 70 episode order. Another 4-5 seasons if they keep up the 10 episode run per season.

I kinda wonder if there's gonna be a point where the main crew we've been following "wraps up" their shit story halfway and the rest of the episodes will just be following other Ricks and Morties shenanigans up until the end.

They can't do that because the suits would see that as a cop-out of epic proportions and probably pull some Jewish tricks to fire Roiland and Harmon and bring in new writers/voice talent to run the show.

Adult Swim will find devious ways to milk the series to the ground like they did with Robot Chicken, with both being absolutely irrelevant compared to back in their respective days when they used to be popular.

I swear to God, every season trailer for Rick and Morty is just a bunch of "LOL, so random" jokes and pop culture references.

I guess you could say the entire show is like that, but so props to the trailer for delivering what the people want I guess.

It's pretty much Family Guy 2.0, but even then that's insulting towards Family Guy and also Seth MacFarlane and his writing team. At least with Family Guy they do have some decent material, and Seth has proven that he American Dad, The Orville, Ted and even The Cleveland Show to prove that he and his writing team aren't one trick ponies.
