Looks like garbage. And no, I don't have a hateboner for this series. I loved the first two seasons, and I thought that a good chunk of season 3 was good, too.

The jokes in this trailer range from cringey to lazy. And only 5 episodes? Wow. This is what two years in the making looks like? That might be the funniest joke about this upcoming season.

Wow, I never cracked a smile, and the only reaction it provoked was a roll of the eyes when they announced there was only gonna be half a season. I guess I have officially just run out of fucks to give.

Looking at this preview left me more uncomfodtably itchy than interested, sadly.

Even though we got our two MCs doing crazy shit like I can applaud them for doing, in the first 2 seasons... Something feels more trashy and insincere in comparison.
 
Oh I'm not denying that I'll watch it, just stumped at this 5 episode shit when the season is basically 10 eps each. I'm so checked out on these Adult Swim shows cause the only ones they invest in to put shit out regularly are really, REALLY dumb like Eric Andre. Hell, Metalocalypse STILL hasn't gotten a series finale due to Adult Swim.

However, I do have to concede that while I may not like Eric Andre, I can understand why others would enjoy him

I haven’t watched Adult Swim in what feels like years, but that doesn’t surprise me. Animation is a lot more time consuming to make than live action.

The half a season thing is bullshit.
 
im avoiding watching the trailer so that way if there are any pickle rick type jokes in it i can see it when the episode premieres

Oh no, I got a few laughs out of it myself. Especially the "Queen" joke, despite how mixed I am on it.

I liked the "you know what, Morty, this counts as one of your adventures" joke as well.

If there's one thing I really like about this show, it's how fucking blunt it could be. The blunt line delivery of Justin Roiland is what makes it funny.

I did like the bit with the ointment since the “12 min” thing actually did happen and it wasn’t just a throwaway joke.
