There were two really funny moments in the episode and a third one where the timing was maybe just a little bit off. I also got a more cerebral laugh out of the idea of the former ruler doing the birthday celebration. I wasn't a big fan of the B plot though, Beth and Morty both acted really out of character in it, whatever resolution there was happened totally off camera and the climax to it was bleh. Really felt like it was just there to fill out time between the Rick and Jerry bits.

So standard plot goes on they ended up not having sex due to her getting stuck in a machine an evil Rick made. Before this at 12:40 Rick and Morty begin to have a struggle and she says "Is it wrong I think this is kind of hot?"
Skip to 20:50. Morty through that same machine has become confident enough to somehow land a Wall Street job and is dating another adult women. More plot occurs when his high school crush and rick come to save him from the Space spas machine effects.. He decides to tell the women Jacqueline what happened.
Morty:Jacqueline I'm not who I said I was
Jacqueline:You weren't a 14 year old boy from the Midwest who ran away from his family and capitalized on his lack of conscious by becoming a stock broker?
