TL;DR: Allegedly on the 24th of November 2025, Asmongold and DSP will have a chill interview-style stream where the former will ask Phil a number of questions. This is the megathread for this Vortex happening.
HOW DID THIS COME TO BE?
Notable slop react streamer Zachariah "Asmongold" Hoyt has a history with DSP content - As early as 2023, Asmongold could be seen reacting to DSP's Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay on his channel. This would enrage Phil to no end, as there's few things Phil hates more than someone punching down on poor ol' Blue Collar Streamer Phil. Two years later Zach would bring DSP up once more, watching the Pigroach's Mario Kart World gameplay. This second viewing would bring even more attention to DSP's channel, and the ire of Phil himself when after winning a single race versus AI, Phil would famously say "Where's Asmongold now!?". This came as a shock to many Detractors, as Phil is known for trying his hardest to avoid any and all drama, especially surrounding his own platform. DSP would never, ever stoop to taking pot shots at another YouTuber, unless they did it a third time. Oh wait, that's exactly what happened!
On November 11th 2025, Asmongold would react to a prolific Phil meltdown where Phil threatened to take away privileges from Kick chat due to "low support"(Note: For those new to the vortex, "Support" is a phil-ism for giving him money) , which would gain mainstream attention and once more bring DarkSydePhil and all his begging and gross mannerisms into the limelight for the Internet to see. But this time, Phil had enough. He wasn't going to sit back and let some large-style react streamer get the better of him. Phillip Burnell would do the one thing that has historically always gone well for him: Demanded an interview with Asmongold. And after much faffing about, a tentative date would come to fruition - On the 24th of November, 2025, Asmongold, The King Of The Roaches would enter the lists in a battle of word-style interview-based discussions with The King Of Hate, DarkSydePhil.
WHY WOULD PHIL AGREE TO THIS?
Adapting a term from the late great KingcobraJFS(RIP doodt), we must apply Boglim's Razor: Retards do dumb shit because they're retarded. And Phil has proven to be very, very retarded. In the last several years, Phil has gone on the SideScroller's Podcast, Kino Casino, the TruthSeeker's Podcast, and more. Each time, we learn more tidbits of embarrassing DSP lore, and each time, DSP comes out looking like more of a loser.
My personal theory is that Phil is trawling for new whales, as these interviews bring a lot of attention to his channel. It's no secret that Phil's facing a downturn between the economy and the loss of multiple major supporters in previous months; Phil's streams have difficulty breaking the 250-viewer mark routinely. This may be Phil being desperate enough to take an ego hit for the possible promise of more support.
