Agreed, and the one thing about Black Panther that annoyed the hell out of me was the massive marketing push that tried to pass the film off as a cultural milestone when it was your typical capeshit film with slightly different trappings. Nothing about it was grassroots and all of it felt like cynical manipulation. I have a sneaking suspicion that Bob knows this, at least on an subconscious level, but is willing to go along with it because of pathetic desire to be seen on the "right side of history." I would find it had to believe that he does not know Spawn, Steel, and Blade predate BP by twenty years. He is such a corporate whore that he is gleefully willing stuff them down the memory hole for his masters.
