The lead director Daniel Vávra (Mafia 1-2) has been a big supporter of the movement. He's also someone who actually wants to make all his games historically accurate and OH HOW SHOCKING people were not that nice to people of color and woman back in those days. Sure medieval life might have been melting pot of different races but surely not in the part of Bohemia where the game is set in.

I'm pretty sure most cultural interchange in the medieval era happened at the point of a sword. Bohemia definitely isn't Spain or Southern Italy. By the same token I could be asking for a game about Warring States China that's inclusive of latinos. Which would pretty much just be- if you really stretch the definition- Romans or maybe Etruscans at that point. Or how about something set in pre-Columbian North America, but there's a Middle Eastern guy in there for some reason.

Aren't these folks always complaining about colonialism? Isn't colonialism one of the main ways black people started intermingling with whites? Personally love how Kingdom Come Deliverance is pissing off the right people and its sales numbers reflect that people will buy great games like that. I know this is fftopic: but right now the game is shaping up to be a GOTY for me especially with the amount of painstaking detail that went into the gameplay, story and getting everything historically accurate.

Vavra did some truly brilliant things. He has been positively engaging his actual customer base for the past 2-3 years, instead of virtue signalling and sucking up to ideologues that don't actually buy or play games. The result is gamers like him. They respect him. They are willing to take a chance on his game. It should tell something when the guy who actually sided with his expected consumer base. Who was positive to and about them. Who actiuvely communicated directly with them, bypassing the shady media, just popped out an unexpected best seller. I think it has already outsold the last Assassins Creed. Whereas numerous high level A list dev's who went the path of lecturing, shaming, ridiculing and insulting their actual consumer base have seen there products hit rock bottom on release. Or grossly underperform. (lookin at you CliffyB!)

If his real life actions are anything like his twitter feed (and from what I've heard about Bob's real life interactions, the guy has no filter,) then Bob's face should look like mashed potatoes.
