I’d wager they all will probably do better than you bob, seeing as how most of them won’t go into internet film criticism, an over bloated industry that has left you living in your aunts basement in Boston. You’re not even smart, you get outwitted by a bunch of dumbasses on twitter, and the only thing you seem to know how to do is block people who call you out. The fact that you try to insult other people’s intelligence would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic, but we’ll all laugh anyways.

If Moviebob's now-infamous Twitter hasn't provided enough endless laughs for you, you might be interested in a Moviebob Twitter parody account, which is, of course, called The_Movie_Blob. Despite being hosted by a stranger who writes self-deprecating things pretending to be Moviebob, it reflects on Bob far better than his own Twitter does. At least there aren't any genocidal rants coming out of it.

I don't run it. I don't know who runs it. It's mostly filled with jokes about his cat, how much of a politically correct tool he is, and (of course) fat jokes. Nothing about grandoise plans for an empire that's going to exterminate his political enemies, unlike what's found in the twitter frequently updated by the real Bob.

Bob wants the term "nerd" to mean "socially awkward autists who sperg about pop culture all day, never leave their parents' basements and who confuse badly researched and ideologically driven "social science" and the rambling platitudes of Black Science Man for actual science.

Going to be referencing someone a bit older and more obscure: Back in the late 2000s when the Wii was riding high, there was a man named Jodecideon (who is black) and had a big channel with multiple series on it that he openly admits was inspired by Moviebob's earlier videos, one of which is called Out From the Side of my Neck (his equivalent to The Game Overthinker) that does basically the same thing Bob does and frankly does a much better job of it.
There are many similar topics- generating backlash to Western Third Party Wii critics as well as journalists who dogpile the Wii for "not being powerful enough", criticizing bad fan behavior of all stripes (including Wii owners who claim "there's no good games" when they themselves don't bother trying to support good games; applies to people who were in their 20s and had a decent enough income to support good third-party Wii games), criticizing Sony's marketing and inability to catch up with key demographics (not just third-party Playstation exclusives) being stolen out from under them, even an episode or two dedicated to showing off a huge collection of genuinely good Wii games, serving as proof that they do exist. There's more of those among others.
Jodecideion was able to keep up this channel, with all of its different shows and consistently well-researched points with good jokes and photoshopping to boot as just a hobby. He quit cold turkey in 2015 (his channel was already getting less popular and he felt the obligation to hype up failures like the Wii U and Amiibos) and that's okay. Jo actually has quite a decent, productive life outside of YouTube. Seriously, go watch his OFTSOMN videos, even if you disagree and think Nintendo's a stupid company, I guarantee they're more watchable than any audience-insulting nonsense Moviebob's ever made.
The point is, being a sperg on the Internet isn't just a hobby for Moviebob because it can't be. This is the career path Moviebob has irrevocably chosen for himself. He is virtually unemployable anywhere else, and that's before potential employers catch wind of his inane fascist rants on Twitter. Speaking of Twitter, once he inevitably gets booted off or some other Internet account of his gets taken down, it's curtains for him. I don't know what he could possibly do instead. By this point, creating disposable fake identities and alt accounts is a long gone possibility. I wonder, has Moviebob ever actually listened to one of Donald Trump's speeches? Because they aren't the slew of ethnic slurs and hatred Moviebob thinks they are. Donald actually brags about the record lows of poverty and crime among minorities (particularly black people) that have been caused thanks to his policies. Donald's food box program (replacing food stamps) and Section 8 welfare cuts have been extremely positively received in predominantly black neighborhoods for de-incentivizing bad behavior used to gain welfare benefits.
On another note, in January, my mother went to Africa for two weeks and used her nursing skills to heal young African children suffering from disabilities, not getting the support they needed for their unique challenges and becoming social pariahs. Moviebob, on the other hand, went to see a movie. And then sperged about it on Twitter for the entirety of February like he had just led the Civil Rights Movement or something.
Another thing: Moviebob revealed on his Twitter that he's only happy for about half an hour a day. If that's the case, why would I want to follow/become him, even disregarding his infamous status as an obese, basement-dwelling manchild?
One aspect of Bob's unhappiness, not related to his life situation, is that he will dedicate and devote significantly more time and mental energy to things he hates than things he enjoys. His only existing negative review in his Really That Good series (Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice of course) is significantly longer than any of his positive reviews in the same series. If he hates something, he will buy it more (to make his criticisms "more legitimate") and give it significantly more attention. Meanwhile, he praises things he stopped buying a long time ago, believing that he's sticking up for an audience he's not a part of (the ultimate SJW thing to do: things specifically not for your benefit, but for the benefit of nobody in particular).
Anyone familiar with Diversity & Comics will know that comics catered towards the sensibilities of Social Justice Warriors doesn't sell (even to those who are very vocal about their support for it) and put comic book shops out of business or convert them into stores for merchandise and no actual comics. And according to Moviebob, making comics that completely bomb even with every advantage in the world (good economy, superhero movies at the height of their popularity, more conventions and advertising opportunities than ever) thereby making them by definition extremely uninclusive... is a good long-term strategy. At most it's one big long-game loss leader. I await D&C roasting him with open arms.
And speaking of D&C, you know how comics pros hype him up as some sort of notorious loudmouth fascist, and you decide to watch one of his videos bracing yourself for a loud, vile rant full of racial slurs and it's just a guy talking in monotone about the real loudmouths being dumb and making bad comics while they're at it? If Moviebob actually bothered to watch a Donald Trump speech instead of just assuming the worst of it (especially since watching things before judging them is HIS JOB), maybe, just MAYBE he would think to himself "You know, I disagree with most of what he's saying, but he has some legitimate points and has actually done some good to groups of minorities I care about" but that would require him to quit his SJW cheerleading team and admit he was wrong and gasp, PREJUDICED about something.
Hey guys, have you heard of Liana Kerzner's Lady Bits series? It's a series of videos made by a Canadian Ginger that examines female characters/employees in video games in... get this... a way that ISN'T condescending and overly sensationalized! Filled with well-researched and deeply thought-out analysis of gaming history by a woman who ACTUALLY PLAYS VIDEO GAMES!!!!! And she actually attempts to make the episodes fun to watch for a group of people who maybe aren't interested in that sort of discussion. So obviously, Moviebob is championing this female gaming veteran and supporting her project with... wait he's not doing that? He hasn't mentioned a word about this opinionated woman who's been an important public figure and has written about video games much longer than he has?
I'll tell you why. Moviebob has so much money invested in FeminaziFraudquency that he is intensely dedicated to justifying all that money. See, when most people spend lots of money on something that doesn't live up to massive amounts of hype, they're pretty salty about it. Moviebob, on the other hand, becomes an even bigger fan of the thing that just wants his money, and will work full time as free advertising for it (longer than its own paid advertisers will work) even if it will never love him back. Even long after the Nintendo and Sega console wars ended (and his side, Nintendo, WON!) he still has PTSD about it.
You know the message this gives to people? Don't be nice to Moviebob. Take his money, bully him into submission, make him your bitch. Chances are, he will rush out to sing your praises and give you lots of attention and virtue signal about you. Or he will rant about you on Twitter and hope Senpai notices.

Moviebob will become things he hates. In 2010, he defended a very poorly recieved video game, Metroid Other M (which also bombed commercially, it's a first-party Wii game with a high-tier old-school IP that sold under a million) and didn't even give the idea that the hatred for the game was motivated by anything other than Japanophobia a passing thought. Years later, he's hyper-critical of depictions of women in everything, including Japanese media. On his old Game Overthinker blog, he mentioned that he is "libertine" and "against censorship". Not anymore. In fact, Game Overthinker Episode 2 is a counter-argument to the whole feminist backlash against "rescuing women in video games" thing. How times have changed. And Episode 6 mostly consists of pictures/video footage of sexy/underdressed female characters. And he used to be "proud to be an American, prouder to be an American geek"
In one of his "American Bob" episodes (remember those?), he argues that flip-flopping isn't ulterior-motivated position changing done by politicians to superficially appeal to groups of voters, it's simply an act of changing your mind! Oh really, Bob. Is that why you do it so often?
