Fun fact: Most movie actors hate being superheroes and James Bond- esque characters. It's loads of work and those are the kinds of movies most directors and actors don't like making. They only like doing those movies because they pay for their artistic magnum opuses. The actors looking bored makes sense, they're already tired of making superhero movies and after Infinity War, many of them will finally get to quit and rest on their paychecks. And that's not even getting into any potential audience fatigue these movies are breeding.

I saw a cringy ad for season 2 of Jessica Jones today that reminded me of Bob and the kind of stuff he goes nuts for. Excuse me if I get the quote from it wrong. It doesn't resemble the character from the comics at all even nowadays.

"When I was little, I was told I was 'pretty good for a girl' but now I see a sisterhood of empowered women who won't settle for just 'pretty good'"

It's just such inane drivel. I can't imagine anyone reading all of this.
I'll be honest, while I check this thread way more than I should, I don't read most of Bob's tweets. It's not worth the headache and I get the CliffNotes from other posters commenting on it anyway (plus it's more enjoyable reading other people's commentary on Bob's shit than it is to read directly from Bob himself).

I'm glad that Marvel Studios is giving me another TV show I wont bother watching. So far the best they've done is Luke Cage and The Punisher. I'll just stick with DC shows, even if we get whole seasons that are terrible. The worst i get is a well done street level hero pushing back at crime that is destroying his black neighbourhoods.

Marvel Studios doesn't actually make any of the TV stuff. That's still in the hands of Marvel Entertainment even after the break-up and you already know the story there.

That's what I meant. Haven't liked anything done on TV and a lot of the movies right now have been pretty bad or too political to get into. I think the last movie I liked was Ant-Man, and Ant-Man and the Wasp is the only Marvel movie I'm looking forward to.

I wish I could say that about a DC movie, I enjoyed Justice League when Gal Gadot wasn't on screen, but the villain was terrible and they basically ruined the Flash and they didn't need Superman in it. At least I got Flashpoint to look forward to.

The good news of that is that line is not on the show, nor what it implies happened. I say give it a chance, and make your own judgement.

I'm trying to find that ad now because I still can't believe someone said something like that with a straight face.

Anyone ever watched Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey? I just saw two episodes where Ramsey's at this restaurant and the owner has the exact personality of Bob; same narcissistic manchild, pretentious presentation, talks down to people that disagree with him.

Can't find the second part, but please watch and tell me this restaurant owner is Bob or not.

I've been referring to ready player one as "The boatloads movie" because if you look in the trailer with the big battle scene you can see the battletoads. It's just normal everyday autism

And here I thought it was some bargain bin direct to dvd movie. Thanks for the heads up. Might want to change boatloads to battletoads though

Oh shit, I remember this one. It's not Bob though, considering that this is in Ohio, not his beloved Bawwwwwwwwwwwwwston.

If it isn't on the coast, it's obsolete, according to this bloated bag of shit. Despite the fact that there are Wikipedia categories for culture of all fifty states.

so bob wants us to destroy all of america but the states right next to the ocean? That's a special kind of stupid Might as well make two separate countries at that point
