"Couldn't have been an easy call".

And I know somebody else that is parting ways from them too soon.

Is CA about to sink and will we get to watch Bob dance on their grave?

... wait, what?
before we spam this thread, send me a PM or something, cause I really want to understand what the heck is going on here.

Include me because I know what's going on and I want to watch. (this is hilarious)

I was watching the final episode (in the UK anyway) of Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams and...

Bob???

Funny thing is, the character was pretty much the polar opposite of Bob. He lives in what Bob would classify a "superior future" where the US is a mega nation incorporating Mexico and Canada, ruled over by a single party headed by a female president and where mechanisation has replaced nearly all blue collar workers. In the end he dies for resisting the female president's call to "Kill All Others" (i.e. people who resist the "superior future").

So a show where we have a real life anti movie bob? Pretty cool. Should we link this to him?

I think that'd be weening, but the character actually uses "Bob" as pseudonym at one point and while this is going to sound :optimistic: as all fuck, but I'm halfway convinced someone on staff knows who Bob is and the character is a deliberate jab at him. A highly unlikely, but highly amusing thought.

Yeah, that's gonna go over great in every other part of New York.

From what I understand of so called "smart guns" they are very ineffective as from what I understand your fingerprints have to be in the exactly correct place in order to operate and in situations that are life threatening, lets face it, won't happen. Additionally the beauty of a firearm its simplicity that anyone with basic firearm knowledge can break it down, clean it, put it back together without too much hassle and if you complicate it ruins that purpose. Add in the fact that government agencies were wanting to push this type of tech makes me believe in ulterior motives among many other firearm owners of possible heavy government restriction of firearms which is a direct violation of the 2nd Amendment.

All and all, Bob again proves how much of a tool he is without any basic foresight or insight and the fact he wants this tech to be in the hands as someone as slimy as Jeff Bezos further cements his Rexian worldview.

It's always fun watching Bob pretend to have any idea how Silicon valley, tech companies, or any industry at all works.

Bob is so shut off from reality that he probably couldn't even explain how his diabetes work. He probably doesn't even know what diabetes is or what actually causes it.

Well if played south park the fractured but whole, he'd know diabeties is a super power that grants you hulk like rage. Maybe it's for the best if doesn't like south park. We don't need Bob larping as a super hero in new york and getting shot by the cops or a crook

edit: any ideas for bob's would be super hero costume and name? I'd bet his old mario costume and the name captain social justice would fit rather well

To add on a bit here. New Jersey actually has a regulation in place that once smart guns are seen as viable, they will be the ONLY guns allowed in the state.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Jersey_Childproof_Handgun_Law

Of course cops would love to have smart guns working because then it would increase their safety should a crook steal their weapon - the catch is that it has to work flawlessly, thus why no police force has yet signed off to have any current smart gun tech.

Now for anybody with a modicum of engineering awareness, they realize that a smart gun could never "remain" a smart gun. It would help with preventing an immediate return fire, but if the gun is stolen away, it would be easy for criminals to dismantle it and remove the smart tech. The only way to prevent this would be to go the way of Apple and have guns that cannot be taken apart for basic maintenance - thus reducing them to the realm of the super rich and large organizations.

The problem with Bob and his allies is that they think the gun is like a magic wand - usable only by trained wizards. It's not, it's a bow & arrow with a controlled explosion replacing the string. (In fact, if you mentally replace "bow & arrow" into smart gun debates and proposals, you'll start to get an idea of how silly it all sounds.)

That Bob will sometimes sound off to try and sound knowledgeable about guns ("that kid should be using a scope?") makes the comedy priceless.

Guns are essentially mechanical objects. You can add security functions with either electronic or mechanical means to a mechanism, but if such things were foolproof we wouldn't have to keep working to make cars harder to steal, we'd have stopped at keyed ignitions. The criminal element adapts to these things. How long does it take for a skilled hacker to crack and jailbreak an iPhone? It'll take that long before Smart Guns are hacked. The superior future is apparently the one where cops are reaching for antiquated Winchester rifles because their "smart" guns done been hacked and locked.

If Moviebob ever cod played as a superhero, you know who he should dress up as? Captain Sweden, an SJW super-zero designed to parody Sweden's self-destructive political correctness.

Someone should sweeten the deal by telling him we'll leave him alone if he stops being a turbosperg.

Well, at least he's partially telling the truth.

That is part of the larger problem how a manchild like Bob views scientific progress in general. He sees it the same way a five-year-old sees a magic trick. They do not care about the sleight-of-hand behind it, they just like the idea from having someone pull a quarter out of their ear. Similarly, Bob loves general scientific concepts but lacks the intelligence or interest to delve into the mechanics behind them. He is just like those people who believe they are science nerds because they watch Rick and Morty.

It's really simple, Bob. Just don't do it.

"Nobody wants me" - looks like we've got our annual self-awareness moment.
Not quite, he's still in denial about the reason why nobody wants him. It looks like he's trying to play the old "people don't like me because I'm too honest" card, instead of acknowledging it's because he's a dumb abrasive cunt with fascistic beliefs.
