When did Deadpool ever say the X-Men movies sucked? The only joke that came close to that is when he asked if Professor X was played by McAvoy or Stewart and that the timeline was confusing, and maybe the one about only Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead being the only X-Men in the movie (but that was more of a clever joke about the budget). And it certainly wasn't padded with X-Men jokes.

Bob's intentionally misremembering a movie's jokes just so it aligns with his views. I shouldn't be surprised, but it amazes me he gets it so wrong.

This is Bob Chipman we are talking about. He will never get it because he can't see past his own ego. I honestly believe that he operates under the delusion that he is as influential as Gene Siskel, Roger Ebert, or Leonard Maltin in their heyday when he is just a small fish in a very large pond where the internet has effectively made everyone a critic. His books are not bestsellers or reaching a mass audience. No one is going to be reading them or his reviews for insight generations later.

Slight :powerlevel: here, but way back when I was a naive student, I honestly wanted to be a media critic like Bob (and the folks at TGWTG/CA) before I realized that I simply did not have the personality for it. I know that I dodged a bullet reflecting upon it now and looking at Bob and his cohorts rage on Twitter now. These narcissistic and often sociopathic fuckwits believe that the world revolves around them and that they have to parade their idiocy before an audience. Had Bob had any sense of humility or capacity for self-deprecation, he would give up this tomfoolery, drop his :autism: obsession with Marvel/Nintendo, and become a functioning member of society.

Before he can play the, "Who are you, again?" card. I repeat, he has done nothing of great importance and whatever meagre relevance he had peaked years ago. The universe will not give a damn if he believes that Black Panther was the most culturally significant film of all time when it undergoing its heat death. If his reviews. books, videos are vanished in the sands of time, it will not be a monumental loss like the destruction of the Library of Alexandria. In the end he is just a corpulent basement dweller whose sole purpose in life is to consume the pablum his corporate nannies give him.

Seriously, I may be boring as fuck, but I acknowledge my insignificance in the grand scheme of things and I'm at peace with it. Bob, on the other hand, will always need who he perceives to be the in-crowd to validate his existence. That will always make him an pitifully unaware sack of skin and cellulite.

There are some "leaks" on 4chan going around that supposedly there will be a cameo of cast members from X-Men Apocalypse in the background of Deadpool 2, as a sort of side jab towards the movies.
But even then, I doubt it will be in such spite as anything Bob has ever said about the X-Men movies.

On that note: Fuck Bob. X-Men Apocalypse was hilarious in its own chessyness. Apocalypse was freaking awesome on a Power Rangers level of villainy.

I just find this entire notion of "trumpian media" people go up into flames over ridiculous.
I will admit there is media obviously targeted at certain people with a mindset closer to what people associate with "paranoid republican voter", but the outrage about every little thing out there is just ridiculous.
Comic features a white character as a main lead? Trumpian.
Story is about people from an urban area? Trumpian.
Story has people fight against an evil empire? Trumpian with the Trumps being the villains.
Meanwhile the "liberal elite" created one of the dullest cartoon shows of the last years (Our Cartoon president) that is technically speaking the most Trumpian bullshit you can produce.
