The cynic in me says "follow the money-" whoever gives him the better deal and the bigger platform to bitch and be visible sounds like where his compass really points.

The annoying part of actually trying to find a direction is that there's no shortage of both left-wing and right-wing authoritarian movements in history. They all stem from a near-pathological distrust of people that honestly swerves into full on misanthropy, whether it's because you're a capitalist pig exploiting the proletariat or a pinko commie trying to take what's rightfully whoever's. Aside from authoritarian, that's why I couldn't say for sure. All people like Bob want is to have responsibility taken from their hands because they think deferring to a strongman or an elite is enlightened thinking.

Placing Bob on the political spectrum is a rather daunting proposition.
His beliefs are a truly bizarre mix of Open Borders Socialism, Authoritarian Fascism, the genocidal ideals of Pol Pot on opposite day, cities good country bad, and other ideals so weird I don't know how to describe them.
I suppose in that respect Bob truly is unique. Not a good kind of unique mind you but unique nevertheless.

Two things:

1) I love how Bob's idea that if republicans had superdelegates, then the GOP wouldn't have had Trump, and Clinton would have won, and he thinks that anybody who looks at that would say "yah, we should continue to have superdelegates, because that makes the party LOSE elections, sign me up!" Its impressive how the republicans embraced the public thought and won, yet Bob thinks the best way to win is to shun it.

2) I love how Bob still thinks that despite being a man whos 40, and his only real accomplishment is being rehired by a company that fired him, he's superior to the vast majority of people because of his ideas.

Say what you want about cows like Emily Youcis who openly identify as Nazis, but they only seem to care about the Jew-hating part of Nazism and mostly do it to be edgy and get attention.

Bob doesn't fit anywhere on the political compass in my view. He claims to be a leftist, we had a discussion earlier this year where people argued that he was actually right-wing. But to me he's neither right or left. He's just an absolute odd-ball that doesn't fit anywhere politically. Just think about what Bob actually believes in and argues for. Most of it is just batshit insane ideas that don't make any sense and would fail if implemented.
