So I know his reviews don't get posted a lot on here, but since he's back on The Escapist, the shots of him in person behind a green screen that he used on Geek are present here.

Anyway, if you thought Black Panther creamed his pants, you won't believe it but he gave Godzilla: King of the Monsters a 10/10 rating, when the movie is currently rotten at 38% at Rotten Tomatoes.

While I think he has a bit of a point with this whole new reveal scoring thing RT's doing, I can't help but notice that the two movies that he's referencing are Hellboy and Godzilla; movies that come from a nerdy, niche background. Also...dat vidya... I also didn't notice it in his other videos but he's got a nice healthy green glow to the sides of his face.

Hyperbole aside, a political belief of Bob's that I think should be mocked more is how he simultaneously believes right-wing ideas are nazism but also any form of socialism that doesn't have a 1 state Earth is also nazism as it's "NATIONAL socialism". It's a Bob-ism he can't weasel out of as easily as his eugenics since he's even more blunt about that and he has been saying it a lot lately. Mostly in ways that can't be interpreted in other ways.

I feel like he’ll meltdown hard if Rocketman beats Godzilla at the box office, especially since it’s director finished Bohemian Rhapsody. Plus, unlike the other two, Rocketman has gotten good reviews so far.

If you weren't convinced by all the game journalist and lefty YouTubers about the problems with crunch and game development, here's Bob with his insider knowledge years of dev experience knowledge of modern game development lack of any particular insight or knowledge of this topic beyond repeating his "friends" opinions.

Bob leans on that "get a talking to from the producer" joke a lot. I struggle to think of a time it was ever funny and feels like filler after he's done with some tangent and wants to get back to the point.

I know I've said this a lot, but Bob is not part of the clique. He's like DSP. He's only talking about crunch because his friends on Twitter are talking about crunch. What Bob doesn't get is that they are talking about crunch because they are trying to set up a labour union and I'm going to guess that Bob is not invited to be on that board of leaders collecting dues.

To Bob's credit, he at least points out that these game developers got big because they grew up as small upstarts and kept that work ethic when they transferred into big business. What he doesn't realise is that successful companies like Amazon talk about keeping that upstart mentality. You can argue about that being a good or bad thing but at least he mentions it, whereas Jim Sterling just blames it all on greedy moustache twirling capitalists.

I've been seeing lolcows mention contra points and hbomberguy a lot. I think part of it is that they are the only popular left leaning YouTubers right now. I don't think that means it's coordinated, but there's definitely a push to make them popular over "problematic" streamers and YouTubers. Though I do think there's organised narrative pushing when it comes to crunch and unions but I doubt Bob is part of that. At most he'll get a message on Twitter to repeat a certain talking point.

So in a sense "We need to present our best, and here is what we have?"

I still can't get over the fact that this sped literally painted an actual, physical wall chroma-key green instead of spending like $100 on Amazon for any of the multitudes of entry-level green screens they've been selling to every other youtuber for damn near a decade now.

The lightswitch is hidden in the red herrings of the other parts of his shitty set, I didn't realise it was a switch until you said it, I thought it was a camera issue in his video.

How much of his "Basement Apartment" is filming space compared to living? How often is this dude actually social? Like I remember one escapist article when he met Anita Sarkessian and was happy he did in like 2015, this makes me wonder if he only leaves to meet women he likes.
