Wow, that sure does sound idiotic Bob. Getting out of the house on a regular basis, having roles in special events, studying subjects? What a horrible childhood you must of had.

Escaping into a lifestyle of vindictiveness, ignorance and laziness was certainly the better option for you.

I'm just trying to figure out what he means by "studied seminary level Scripture under Jesuits." Everything else on his little list, including being confirmed by a world famous Cardinal, is bog standard life experience for a Catholic boy living in a big city. The only thing I can think he means is that he attended a Jesuit high school where the religious curriculum was a little more elevated than it might otherwise have been, which is still not that unusual for someone in his circumstances. Certainly nothing in his writings suggests an Aquinas-level grasp of theology.

I'm always amazed. Bob says something bizarrely stupid, gets called out like always, then suddenly he was one of the girls at the Magdalene Laundries, and thus highly knowledgeable about...something.

There's got to be a stolen valor incident in his internet history somewhere.

I don't know enough about Chatholic traditions/rituals to say this with any certainty, but all of his list (and that last part especially) kinda sounds like he's making himself seem smarter than he actually is. He's saying stuff that is technically true, but not as important as it actually is. Like how (if any of you are familar with Time Cube lore; don't know if Gene Ray has a thread here) Gene Ray said that he 'lectured at MIT' when he actually just visited a classroom on campus on a weekend so that some students could laugh at him.

If I recall correctly, in the book he mentioned going to a Catholic private high school. What most likely happened is that school had a scripture class or something and is trying to make himself seem more knowledgeable than he really is, but is only able to reference something that happened 20 years ago.

As one who did go to a Catholic high school, there is indeed a class for scriptures, it was mostly just interpreting them and applying them to every day life, we would go to the school chapel for a weekly teaching with the other classes that were happening then. So while those may seem "idiotic" to any contempt atheist, only a real anti-social tard would forget that the school, probably, had a code of Brotherhood, but hey who knows what it must've been like for him?

Interestingly, the only Jesuit high school I can find reference to in Massachusetts is Boston College High, and I'm fairly sure that's not Bob's alma mater (didn't we track him down to St. Mary's in Lynn?). If he had gone to BC's high school, he probably would have bragged about it by now. So either he had a Jesuit teacher for one of his religion classes (which is not at all the same as attending a Jesuit school), or he's simply flat out lying.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I was confirmed top of my class in Catholic School, & I've been involved in numerous Masses in consecrated churches, and have over 300 confirmed communions. I am trained in seminary-level script-
I CAN RECITE THE NICEAN CREED IN MY SLEEP, INSECT

no way, Tom Bombadil is fucking based
Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo!
Ring a dong! hop along! fal lal the willow!
Tom Bom, jolly Tom, Tom Bombadillo!
Also Bombadil is pretty much a personification of incorruptible chaotic good. If Bob is a Tolkien character he's one of the sniveling orcs eager to serve their master in the most direct, evil way possible.

The Pope: "Treat sick people nicely."
Bob: *Autistic screeching*

Look, I'm not Catholic and some messed up stuff happened with the priestly sexual abuse, but maybe this isn't the best thing to violently attack him on. Especially when people already think you're a nutty, hateful Social Darwinist.

Then again, considering how Bob skipped out on his grandmother's funeral to play Mario, maybe the Pope's words struck a nerve with Blobby boy. Won't it be karma if his brother's kids ship him off to a home and forget about him when his own inevitable health decline hits in full force?

There's all sorts of conspiracy theories online claiming that the Jesuits are a sect hell-bent on enslaving humanity and causing widespread human suffering. But I didn't give them any creedence until I learned that the Cursed Order had produced Bob Chipman. Surely, this is a crime on the level of the betrayal of the Knights Templar in 1307.
