No man can either understand how Bob can make putting himself in front of a camera his life's work, and at the same time be wholly incapable of posing for a picture where he looks like a normal and relaxed human specimen.

I think it is possible to find a photo of every other documented cow 1) flashing a smile at all and 2) flashing a smile that doesn't look like it's causing them pain

We can just import all our food from China! There is no way whatsoever that could possibly backfire!

But yeah, farmers are subsidized because if the farming industry goes too badly and too many farmers end up shutting down their farms, then conditions change and we need more food, we'll be in deep shit. It's literally a preventative measure against famine.
