And quite literally, sometimes they do that. This wouldn't have been one of those cases. My minimal review of what police manuals say about this, though, is that the "kneel on neck" restraint method is not encouraged, and certainly not for what even you described as "passive resistance."
Anyway, a bit far afield, and I'll drop it now.

I'll say that the neck restraint certainly LOOKS bad. Just about every Republican of my acquaintance was criticizing the police for having knelt on Floyd's neck. The optics of what went down matter more than the reality of it. And this took place during a volatile time when hoodrats and Antifa were just itching to riot over every black criminal who kicked the oxygen habit. If the Minneapolis cops were guilty of anything, it was having no awareness of how their tactics would look to a mob and media eager to crucify them.

Not my OC, I think it's from 4chan.
The sad thing is that I wouldn't be surprised if he did that.

Somewhere in the Casa de Bob there's a computer filled with deepfakes of pretty much every famous woman who Bob thinks is hot.
Doing that shit to someone who already said he can't breathe, even if he was full of shit, is at the very least beyond reckless or negligent. Continuing to do it long after he's stopped struggling, moving, or even breathing is insane. That is a restraint for someone who is actively struggling, not for someone who is passively resisting. And Floyd was literally dead. He was certainly not even resisting passively at some point well before that bitch-faced asshole stopped "restraining" him.
Yeah. Floyd wasn't resisting and he wasn't arrested for a violent crime, so why the cops felt the need to kneel on his neck is something I don't understand.
"Mr. Floyd, can you please step out of the car?"
"I can't breathe."
"Okay, well, would you come out and lay on this gurney for the paramedics?"
"No."
- Checkmate. No law enforcement can proceed.
There are ways to arrest people that don't involve kneeling on their necks.
I have no idea what these fucks are talking about. "Super capitalism" is nothing like socialism. It honestly sounds more like libertarianism. Maybe I'm drunk.
It's socialism, but phrased in a way that makes it sound vaguely libertarian. The bit about private ownership being a right instead of a privilege should have given it away.
Has anybody reminded Bob that he's a Straight White Male and therefore he has no real problems because the system exists to benefit him?
I'd honestly love to see SJW's turn on Bob.

I wonder about that.

I think Robert likes the idea that he is one of the few "elites" that can decipher and explain the societal and historical meaning of these pop-culture products, and to be seen as a smart person to be doing so.

As far as the cape-shit movies by themselves, Robert has stated numerous times that he thinks they are at most b+ action movies, which is stating the obvious, but Robert also says that because he doesn't want to be seen as a simpleton that slobs all over dumbed down entertainment.

However, at the same heartbeat, Robert would argue that the cape-shit crap is important for the "Zeitgeist" and to understand our times, we also need to understand our popular culture, and that is why Robert thinks it all so important to have hot takes about silly movies where overpaid actors jump around in a green set wearing silly costumes, because the deeper meaning is how people react to these silly movies, and like I said, Robert thinks he is one of the few that can see these invisible threads that move pop-culture.

In other words, Robert thinks he is a "Cahiers du Cinéma" intellectual, but instead of high brow bullshit, he brings his analytical expertise to the culture involving mass produced disney shit, not so much for the movies themselves.

And I'll go a bit further and say that Robert doesn't really like cape-shit or most of these disney-esque blockbuster. Same way he doesn't seem to like comics and videogames all that much either. Whenever he talks comics or videogames, you can tell he is looking from the wiki to fake being into it, and the capeshit crap is pretty much the only thing that brings him any views anymore.

Nah, as far as what Robert presents himself in the internet, Robert likes twitter, he likes the idea that he can be seen as a authority in pop-culture on twitter, he is addicted to political sperging on twitter and craves whatever media that can deliver on his revenge fantasies or ratificate his political views, be news, movies or whatever.

That is what Robert truly consooms, the idea of being right, the fantasy of purging those who have wronged him and the satisfaction of being seen as part of the intellectual elite.
After Trump won in 2016 Bob and a lot of others on the left went through a period of asking themselves "how can we focus on shallow unimportant things like movies and video games when this is going on in the world? it's like we just entered Nazi Germany!" Honestly Bob's need to try to justify his work as important doesn't seem unique to him, as evident by all of these video game bloggers shoving politics into their writing in the most ham-fisted ways possible. It comes across like someone feeling unfulfilled and self-conscious with their legacy so they try to talk about more serious issues to feel like their career isn't a joke. As an example check out this excerpt from the Kotaku PS5 review:
This review has spent 3,000 words talking about the PlayStation 5, which is the most I’ve written about anything. It’s as good a video game console as there has ever been. The combination of ultra high-definition video, increased framerates, high-end graphics techniques like ray tracing, and the lightning-fast SSD make it feel like a real-deal, next-gen successor to the PlayStation 4. And if you’re not ready to give up on the previous console, the PlayStation 5 reliably runs a vast majority of the PlayStation 4 library, with many of those games receiving upgrades to fidelity, framerate, and loading times.

But I’d be remiss to ignore all the reasons not to be excited for the PlayStation 5.

The world is still reeling under the weight of the covid-19 pandemic. There are more Americans out of work right now than at any point in the country’s history, with no relief in sight. Our health care system is an inherently evil institution that forces people to ration life-saving medications like insulin and choose suicide over suffering with untreated mental illness.

As I’m writing this, it looks very likely that Joe Biden will be our next president. But it’s clear that the worst people aren’t going away just because a new old white man is sitting behind the Resolute desk—well, at least not this old white man. Our government is fundamentally broken in a way that necessitates radical change rather than incremental electorialism.

The harsh truth is that, for the reasons listed above and more, a lot of people simply won’t be able to buy a PlayStation 5, regardless of supply. Or if they can, concerns over increasing austerity in the United States and the growing threat of widespread political violence supersede any enthusiasm about the console’s SSD or how ray tracing makes reflections more realistic. That’s not to say you can’t be excited for those things—I certainly am, on some level—but there’s an irrefutable level of privilege attached to the ability to simply tune out the world as it burns around you.

I won’t deny that video games can be an escape. It feels great to lose yourself in a fictional world where you can fix everything. Some of us see a strength or personality trait in video game characters what we wish we saw in ourselves. As much as it sucks for real-world problems to intrude on that space, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to focus on video games amid our current situation. Many nights, it’s all I can do to play a couple runs of Spelunky before collapsing into bed for a few hours of doomscrolling and restless sleep. And I know I’m not alone in that feeling. We are collectively tired, and for good reason.

Sony and Microsoft chose a hell of a time to release their next-generation video game consoles. I think the PlayStation 5 is a great machine, but it’s tough to recommend when folks are literally fighting for their lives while residing in the richest country in the world. I was very lucky to receive a PlayStation 5 for the purposes of this review despite the fact that I am comfortable enough to have bought one on my own.

If you’re in the same boat, I encourage you to grab the console and see what it’s all about for yourself. If you aren’t, don’t feel like the PlayStation 5 would change your life. It’s a video game system, and it’s not going anywhere. I’m looking forward to a time when we can all chat about next-generation gaming on equal footing, without a dozen daily crises looming over our heads. Until then, let’s focus on what’s truly important, even if that means dipping out of the next-gen hype machine for a bit.

Look at all of that writing in this PS5 review that has NOTHING to do with reviewing the PS5. If I had written
"Our government is fundamentally broken in a way that necessitates radical change rather than incremental electorialism. [sic]" -Kotaku PS5 review probably
it would seem like a joke to people unaware of just how terrible entertainment "journalism" has become.

I think Chris leans more towards pride. He does a bunch of dumb stuff but it seems to come from a place of genuine stupidity combined with living under his fat brother's fat shadow. Sure things like wearing that stupid rainbow whig and offering to ska dance in a dinosaur suit isn't really dignified but I don't think he's doing it because he hates himself. Some people just want to think of themselves as the "goofy silly guy".
I think what Chris craves is companionship: to be able to bond with people from different walks over pop culture and alcohol; to be able to meet with old friends from Blockbuster and laugh again at the carefree days, when nothing was at stake in what was essentially a temporary job, when nobody felt the need to be defensive and hide some part of himself away. These are understandable sentiments and there is nothing bad about it. What he has been doing wrong, however, are that 1) he attempts to monetize this shit when everyone can see there is absolutely no market, and his insistence that he deserves a "fair pay" strikes people as entitlement. 2) he lets woke politics, no doubt inherited from his brother, to get into his project of making friends. In one of the post-election videos he claimed he needs to reassess people he counted as "friends". Chris and Bobby needs to realize that even people they despise politically may nevertheless be great, honest friends, and that those "ghouls" don't vote for a certain politician to spite people.

But lest I get too sentimental for him, Chris sends me a timely reminder that he is a despicable person who gloats at people losing their jobs:

It's certainly a recipe for causing some damage to your hands. At least Bob confirms he doesn't have the patience to find a can opener and just rips through the can to get to his small amount of food, no obstacles keep Bob from eating.

On the topic of that home improvement sperging, I always love how someone mentioning a TV show or movie in a throw away comment will always trigger a multiple tweet "me so smrt" thread from Bob injecting his big brained take on said property. Like it was just a funny TV show where guy screwed up in funny ways but was ultimately a good guy with a loving family, oh I see why Bob has to read more into it now.

Bob once again confirms Chris' parenting is substandard and his nephew is suffering from it. He can't really speak but knows how to use a tablet perfectly. I see they're continuing the family tradition of "electronic screen will raise the kid, why should I bother".

Here's a fun game, go find instances of that posted on Reddit and Twitter and witness the butt hurt in the comments section. It's almost consoomer meme levels of denial.
Oh, I know. Craft beer fans are almost as bad as cyclists, with the exception that craft beer fans don't lobby politicians and force them to include special real ale facilities everywhere.

1) yeah. I might actually watch Bob's shit if he wasn't so stuck up, and I might get a bit drunk while using Twitter and tolerate an hour of Chris if he wasn't so entitled. I have no problem with watching leftist critics, but I have lots of problems with watching pretentious genocidal maniacs.
2) did Bobby complain about the fiery but mostly peaceful protests that took place during the first wave? I don't think so!
3) Bob is attracted to Naomi Wu's blatant thirst posting. Quelle surprise.
4) as a Britbong with a few woke friends I know roughly what the controversy's about. The BBC runs an essay competition called the Russell Prize. One of the essays which got in the top five was by JK Rowling and had some heretical opinions in it. This pissed a lot of people off despite the fact that it was nominated because of the quality of its writing and not because the BBC agreed with it.
5) I can see him in his basement right now, and... actually, I don't want to write reams of Islamic content about Bob, so I'll just say that Bob is fat and that AOC wouldn't have sex with him.
6) what the fuck is the Podcast Industrial Complex? Does he know that the military industrial complex is a specific concept and isn't just ”anything I don't like”?
7) I hope he tries that with a can of coke and spills it everywhere.

I wait the day that his anger/self-loathing finally runs out and he realizes how much he wasted his life pursuing this idea so pointlessly. And how his dream will never become a reality no matter how much he tried. You'll be forgotten by the rest and only remembered by the farms as a cautionary tale.

The problem with Bob is that he cannot hide how stuck up he is. The first time I ever noticed this was his Expendables review and raging over the fact that it was #1 at the box office while Scott Pilgrim languished lower down the ladder. He spent a good chunk of it slamming movie goers, in a complete lack of self-awareness on his part, as lining up to get their "processed cheese" by indulging in a film packed to the gills with famous action stars while ignoring an obscure nerdy property. He kept brining this up in future videos, even at one point disparaging cinema goers for killing an At the Mountains of Madness adaptation with Guillermo del Torro because they would up not going to see the holy and "game changing" Scott Pilgrim. He also mentioned how he hated the Scream franchise because he couldn't drop horror knowledge on normies afterwards because suddenly everyone could know that Pamela Voorhees was the killer in Friday the 13th. He wants his taste in everything, his cinema knowledge, and his politics to be above your average schmuck because he has to feed his bizarre delusion of superiority. The point is that everything he makes drips with condescension and he will always be stuck up by his nature.

I wait the day that his anger/self-loathing finally runs out and he realizes how much he wasted his life pursuing this idea so pointlessly. And how his dream will never become a reality no matter how much he tried. You'll be forgotten by the rest and only remembered by the farms as a cautionary tale.
He would have to be exposed to how completely wasted his life has been via comparison but it appears that he has so little exposure to anything other than his corner of New England. Much like Chris-Chan he chooses to stay in his admittedly less batshit insane fantasy world inside his domicile, but the effect on both of them is that they cannot see how truly pitiful they are. As long as Bob stays where he is and keeps himself away from the "mayoghouls" with loving families and more than a flooded basement pot to piss in, then he can never be forced to compare himself with reality and will continue his fruitless internet fight for his ideal future.

Bobby apparently think Dore is both an elected official ("we are their boses") and a wife beater.
Oh man, Robert is really going for it huh, Jimmy Dore the wife beater, just because he was mean to AOC.

I don't like to interact with these cows, or do (or ask) anything besides point and laugh, but if anyone has a twitter here, I would suggest to try to get Dore's attention on Robert's rant, this is too good to be ignored, maybe Robert will make into on of Dore's videos, imagine if he even brings up Robert being creepy to Lindsay Ellis.

But you know, don't over do it or expose yourself, no need to get into this shitshow.

And the whole AOC vs Dore is gay as fuck, but kinda funny too, because Dore found notoriety and he is clearly getting drunk on it, in the same fashion AOC got drunk on her self-righteousness when she got twitter popular for dunking on stablishment Dems.

Always amusing how quick any left movement turns into a uroboros. Also funny how sidelined AOC got over this "force the vote" bullshit, she just doesn't have an awnser for this.

AOC gets blasted all the time, but she has the magical wand of "they are nazis" that just wipe any sort of criticism, but now it seems this shit won't go away this easly, because the very people who bought her shit are the ones calling her on it.

AOC was always a con artist, or at least the face being used by one, but now we might get a chance of seeing her true colors... wouldn't hold my breath to it, but it might be entertaining.

In my opinion this won't do much, mainly because far more people know who AOC is than know who Jimmy Dore is.
Besides, and these are words I rarely have a good excuse to say here, Ocasio-Cortez is right. It's completely stupid to try and kick Nancy Pelosi out of her job when the Georgia runoffs are in 24 hours, and moderates in Georgia aren't going to vote Democrat if they see that socialists within the Democrats are effectively writing policy. Jimmy Dore is a youtuber who doesn't have any serious political experience and he shouldn't be telling a woman who's actually done stuff how to campaign.

Maybe I'm misreading this, but it sounds like is Chris is calling out Santos for being pro-cancel culture until it hit him and his fiancé.
Yeah, kind of. Except he doesn't know if Santos actually ever had such views so he has to broaden his accusation of hypocrisy to "folks like Santos" (whatever that means).

is funny how blobbo tells someone to just take the L. if that was true bob would have just killed himself a long time ago. we should add hipocrisy to the long list of robert chipman film conosseour long list of achievements after his maniatic political toughts, his incel hate of women who dont like him and his all around sexual creepiness

It's also hilarious because he mentally refuses to ever take any Ls as he says that. More than once he commits massive fuck-ups that are only so big because he refuses to walk back.

All because he got assmad decades ago some children made fun of him for being a near tard obsessed with Mario.

That'd be true if Santos is really pro-cancel, which neither Chris nor I can be bothered to check. If there is no evidence that Santos has ever congratulated anyone being fired for wrongthink (remember this shit is a specialty of the woke; Chris and Bob themselves have tried to get someone fired), then what Chris's said strikes me as deflection: he is a bad person so who cares what I feel about what happened to his fiancée?
