How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

As a nonreligious person who came from a religious family... This always confused me.

Wasn't the death of Christ (and subsequent resurrection) the entire fucking point of him being on earth to begin with?

His sacrifice allowing us to be free of sin and all that?

and the resurrection to show that death can be overcome and such?

So by this logic.... Weren't the jews involved in Jesus's crucifixion just inadvertantly doing gods will?
Yeah, I kinda ninja'd you on that, but you're absolutely right. Why are people complaining about the details of something that HAD to happen? I mean, it had to happen SO HARD, that fictional media recognizes it. Tennant 10th Doctor used Jesus' Crucifixion as a "fixed point in time" (unchangeable) on an episode of Dr. Who.

And after all that and Jesus asking God to forgive his crucifiers, it's sort of shitty for people to completely disregard that and hold it over the heads of those of Judean extraction in perpetuity. The fact that bob doesn't even seem to figure that out as an argument against "Christian" anti-semitism is weaaaaaaaaaaaaaak.

(More on Chris's Facebook)

This troon is a true wackjob. Even Bobby finds his constant suicide baiting and endless murmuration about that surgery he's been waiting for 15 years insufferable.

The Chipmans make me embarrassed to have occasionally played Nintendo. Imagine how baffled Shigeru Miyamoto would be by a dweeb like Bob.

I forget who it was, but, someone on YouTube did an absolutely brutal deconstruction of the notion that "History is written by the victors" and how flawed it is as a philosophy because history, being built of facts we agree upon though several different scientific disciplines, cannot be "fooled" by trying to shape it before it's happened. No serious historian just takes the word of one primary source and goes home...

That is, the Nazis could hypothetically have won WWII, and claimed they never killed six million Jews, but, no matter what they did, at some point in the future, someone is going to dig up one of those mass graves, and then that would encourage them to look for and find more. Anthropologists would identify the ethnicities of the dead, ballistics experts would identify the kinds of weapons used to kill them, historians would find at least one surviving version of a Russian Anne Frank's diary, talking about being invaded and hiding from liquidation squads committing genocide, old landfills would be found and, curiously, every one of them, at the 1940-1944 level would be stuffed full of Russian artifacts, books, clothing, guns, pieces of art, and most of it was apparently still intact when thrown away, why would they do that?

All this would be tracked and graphed alongside known movements of the Wehrmacht and we would eventually piece together the fact the Nazi conquest was NOT a peaceful liberation of the Soviets from communism, no matter what the Nazis wanted us to think of them when they wrote their own story, which would also be used against them as what they didn't mention would stand out.

I.E. - In the official record, you admit to being in the Soviet Union in 1942, and your glorious victories therein. Coincidentally, every "great victory" you had coincides with where these mass graves were found to date to, they're full of ethnic non-Germans, contain civilian artifacts like coat buttons and shoes that aren't military-issue, indicating they weren't just combat casualties, they were all shot by German weapons, but, you don't mention them? At all? In fact, you deny such things exist in all your surviving archives? And your court records from that era say people went to jail for insisting they did? Hummmmmmmm. That's odd... it's almost like you're.... hiding something..... and this paper we uncovered that is alleged to be from a German university in the late 20th Century, entitled "The Need for Further Genocide, Repeating the Soviet Success Worldwide"? Yes, for a long time we thought it was a joke, or a fraud out to smear the German nation, but, it matches up with all this other evidence... maybe it's the truth after all?

You can't fool history because it goes in blind, with enough time lapsed between event and current day scholars that there isn't a vested interest in keeping an ideology afloat or a person's legacy intact, and that only grows stronger as time goes on. It will find the truth, or the closest thing to it from available evidence no matter what you, the victor today, want your legacy to be. You can hide the truth short-term, but you can't dictate it long term.
What you said is the plot of a book I read in school, Fatherland by Robert Harris.
EDIT: The wikipedia article, it has a backstory section that is very interesting.

The synopsis is "It is twenty years after Nazi Germany's triumphant victory in World War II and the entire country is preparing for the grand celebration of the Führer's seventy-fifth birthday, as well as the imminent peacemaking visit from President Kennedy.

Meanwhile, Berlin Detective Xavier March — a disillusioned but talented investigation of a corpse washed up on the shore of a lake. When a dead man turns out to be a high-ranking Nazi commander, the Gestapo orders March off the case immediately. Suddenly other unrelated deaths are anything but routine.

Now obsessed by the case, March teams up with a beautiful, young American journalist and starts asking questions... dangerous questions. What they uncover is a terrifying and long-concealed conspiracy of such astounding and mind-numbing terror that is it certain to spell the end of the Third Reich — if they can live long enough to tell the world about it."

I vaguely remember a part in the book where he finds documents showing that he and the crew of the U-Boat he was stationed in receiving socks made from the hairs of people in the camps.

I was just thinking about the Lindsay Incident today, and I think I have some an interesting perspective.

Lindsay said that she "soft-blocked" Bob three times, but never directly confronted him or told him to stop messaging her until he explicitly associated himself with in public. This got me thinking: how many other people are just ignoring Bob even though they cringe at what he says, or even outright despise it? Are they ignoring him because they know he's toxic but don't want to stir up drama? Or are they ignoring him out of kindness because acknowledging him would necessitate insulting his deranged belief system? How many people out there are, as a recent Dave Chappelle bit put it, "supporting him with their silence"? And is that because they secretly agree with him but have the self-awareness to realize everyone would hate them for saying it? Or is it because they genuinely disagree with the shit he says but see him as a damaged sped who confronting would be like picking on the retarded kid in class?

It could be a lot of things. It could be that most "nerdy" Twitter users are inherently almost embarrassingly afraid of direct conflict, which manifests as the practices of "softblocking", vaguely worded callout posts, and indirect appeals to violence (e.g. that "Twitter do your thing" bullshit over the summer). It could be the dying gasps of "leftist unity" that discourages self-policing and encourages aggressive acceptance of everyone who repeats the party line among the left. It could just be a simple cost-benefit analysis between ignoring their attempts to get closer and retaining them as a useful idiot, or calling them out and possibly risking unnecessary drama on the Internet among your followers and anyone who might be watching. It could be a lot of things, but it is absolutely not out of any sense of kindness or self-awareness, and you can put money on it not being so until the last fire has burned itself out in the last Starbucks in Portland.

I can't believe it. Chris actually looks normal next to Bob. And Bob have awfully skinny arms for a fatass.
Those arms can bench 300 lbs according to him. Forget X to doubt, slam that Y button for lie.
He never works out or does heavy lifting, so his arms are weak.
Hasn't stopped him from bragging about his size or how intimidating he is.

for one time that I got day surgery, they gave me tylenol and oxycodone prior to surgery. Once I woke up and shook off the anasthetic, I felt GREAT, i was in no pain at all (my default setting is constant pain of varying degrees due to stupid fibromyalgia/lyme/whatever). Like, best I've felt in a long time. Like almost as if I hadn't just had surgery. Felt completely lucid and not impaired in any way. Didn't attempt to do math or anything, though, but I did go online and was able to type coherently and shit. And it was only ONE dose; I did not get further doses after that.

But yeah, I can see how and why that shit's so easy to get hooked on. So when Bob makes fun of people who get hooked on Oxy, he really obviously hasn't a fucking clue what he's talking about.
I got demerol once for an endoscopy, and it was magical--I've never felt so relaxed. I was even figuring out songs on my guitar I'd never been able to before.

THEN I walked over the the property managers office and asked them to come look at a damp spot on the ceiling and realized I couldn't completely remember why I was there. When I remembered i had trouble clearly telling them, lol.

I posted this many pages back, but I'll repeat myself here: I do not think Bob is naturally fat. His body type may be ectomorphic, which is characterized by a thin appearance (scrawny arms, thin face, etc.) It's also a body type that sheds fat easily (relatively speaking). His natural shape is that of a skinny nerd (which may explain why he sides with the nerds instead of the jocks). In my armchair opinion, the reason Bob looks so unnatural is because he has eaten himself into his current size; it's why his cheeks are sunken and his arms are skinny. Were Bob endomorphic (i.e. the naturally fat body) he wouldn't look quite so bad (or he'd be a deathfat, who knows.)

Now I'm curious to see Bizarro Bob's tweets.

  • The working class has a lot to offer America.
  • Why yes, Lindsay Ellis. I can take the hint. I am sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable in any way.
  • There are days I wish the Nazis didn't ruin eugenics. Those days are never.
  • Gosh, I don't think I could eat all of that McDonalds. Just looking at it is giving me chest pains.
  • Wait, why am I thirsting over a Chinese lesbian?
  • Maybe the MCU is overrated.
  • What if I stopped injecting politics into everything?

I don't think just conservatives hate Cuomo anymore. Something probably happened after his lying about covid deaths, accusations of sexual assault, and generally being a "tough guy" douche.

Also what the fuck is that on his plate? Some kind of midwestern church salad thrown on a piece of bread?
Moviebob started hating Cuomo when AOC said that he should be investigated.

If I could get AOC to do one thing, it would be to get her to tweet ”Genesis does what Nintendon't”, just to see Blobbo's reaction.
