HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA, Strange Academy being a challenger to Harry Potter, fucking lol.
First, Strange Academy doesn't even break the top 50 best selling comics, taking into account that even the best selling comic right now barely goes over 150K, which is nothing to a series of books that outsells it montly and easily despise being two decades old, the Harry Potter section on the Universal theme park was responsible for almost double the attendance, and bitch all you want about the fantastic beasts movies, the last one everybody said it was a piece of shit, made more money than the Eternals.... yeah, anyone can play thebox office game fatty.
Also,Robert never read a single issue of Strange Academy, he is just repeating what other people are saying, "Oh it is just like Harry Potter in the marvel universe", and I've read it for about 7 issues and it is and isn't.
I've never read harry Potter, but even I know that the first book was all about building the magic world, the school, the classes, teachers, and to make people feel like they want to join the school, and to this day we have gown man and women still butt-hurt they can't go to Hogwarts.
Strange Academy not so much. It is Marvel wankery, they got all the magic users in the marvel comics to be teachers to a bunch of kids that also have ties to Marvel characters, on of the main characters is the son of Dormamu, one of the Doc Strange big bads. And from the start they go on adventure in famous Marvel places with famous marvel characters, and the whole idea of that they are in a "magic school" is mostly lost, aside from some panel that show them being in class... even if zero to no plot takes place in class.
I can't say it is bad per si, because Scottie Young, who wrote one of my favorite books of the last 5 years (Middlewest) does have a nice plot going and he isn't a complete hack like the other guys writting for Marvel, but Young ain't that hot either, and he just wrote a fucking dud in the "The Me You Love In The Dark" (fucking awfull).
Cards on the table, I fucking hate magic shit, I don't like kid adventure plots, and I don't like special school settings (the idea of the X-men being in a school was barely used let's be real), and I hate Humbert Ramos' (the artist in this book) work, so I would never like Strange Academy, and I've read because of this buzz that idiots like Robert were saying about this mediocre comic being able to topple what is to be the biggest pop franchise since fucking Star Wars, and that was a laugh.
Keep sucking that Disney cock Robert, maybe if you suck hard enough you can bend reality.

It's funny how he focuses on the "movie brand" for Harry Potter when... it's over. They did them all which ended a decade ago. The books ended in 2007, they kept selling and sold over 500 million copies by 2018. The brand's big enough that these spin-off movies are scheduled into 2024 already. The theme park stuff is huge as you note. The first "real" video game that's not just a movie adaptation is coming soon. There's rumors about a HBO Max series. Nobody cares about Rowling having a position on trans-rights that's actually to the "left" of mainstream opinion except a very online cult.
It's like he fundamentally can't comprehend a brand that doesn't continuously produce new films (and film-related media) for him to consume and relies on its established works selling over and over again to new fans with each generation.
But sure, a Dr. Strange based spin-off on Disney+ will totally end Harry Potter. Just like the Battlestar Galactica reboot stopped the Star Wars craze.

JK Rowling's biggest mistake was trying to pander to these wokescolds, despite giving them a gay main character in Dumbledore and saying how much she supports trans rights on Twitter, they still treat her as if she turned a firehose on a group of black civil rights protesters or bought up all of the world's AIDs medicine and burned it in a pyre. Also, the world didn't try giving up making new Harry Potter shit. It's just that it's hard to find that combination of story, worldbuilding and budget to knock the original off its pedestal, and anything "magic school-y" will be seen pretty much as a copycat of HP, even if it originally pre-dated Harry Potter. Bob's theory that a Disney capeshit comic would replace Harry Potter is more of him shilling for things he likes.

Black Panther wasn't even the best capeshit movie. Though whatever mad bastard decided to make it a whole black pride event, they should be given the biggest goddamn bonus, because holy cow I haven't seen people go so hard for obvious marketing in my entire life. To be fair, I don't care about the oscars, but even if I did, I don't think any MCU film should've won one.

Chris Ingersoll is the only one here with a good point. Why Robert thinks giving Black Panther the Oscar for Best Picture would somehow stop people from promoting superhero movies for awards is as baffling as most of Robert's opinions. They'd just say you gave it to the decidedly average Black Panther, of course this superior film deserves it too! Nobody would say "oh, we already got our one award" and give up.

I mean, did Bob even see/review The Green Book? (I don't remember seeing evidence of such but then again I avoid giving bob youtube clicks as much as possible). I can fully understand why it would get best picture (out of anything, let alone Black Panther, and although I didn't see Black Panther, I've seen most of the other capeshit from Marvel - tapped out after Thor: Ragnarok), and if the rest of the MCU is any indication, there's a good reason why The Green Book got it over Black Panther, even if the reason it got it is duelling pandering. (I'll take my puzzle pieces now)
I mean, what's not to like about the juxtaposition of a talented Black Musician, who's driven around by an Italian-American to various gigs around America, and the Italian guy's eyes being opened to just how bad discrimination was back then? Sure it was heavyhanded in places, but I think it did a good job of making the audience see the picture of what things were like back then.
