I really have to wonder to how regularly someone would need to consume McDonalds to believe this. California focuses on high-value cash crops like almonds (much to the detriment of their state ecology), while the bulk of the country grows the staples that feed not only the nation, but the world, to say nothing of livestock production.

To put it in terms that Bobby might be able to understand, it's easy to live without almonds, it's a lot harder to live without wheat (or rice, or corn, or beans, or whatever staple you prefer).

True, but as a CA native and resident, my home state does have a myraid of other staple crops as well (corn, citrus, grapes, etc.).

The rkgg person sent them a video of audio clips of people talking about taking food.
