Wow. Some guy was rude? Truly the death knell for Christianity in the West. The Church will never recover, this was beyond the pale. Thank God that the man had a Bible with him, so that we know for certain that this ungodly monster was a Christian.
Maybe its just a difference of industry, but I've been legitimately threatened at work. I've had to call the cops. People being rude, I barely remember by the time I get out of the car from the drive home.
I'd point out that just because he has a Bible doesn't actually make him a Christian. I mean, its a safe bet, but I have a bunch of sacred texts that I've collected over the years, some that I only find interesting out of academic curiosity. But if I bring my copy of the Tao Te Ching and then rob a bank, would you talk about a Taoist bank robber?

Maybe MovieBob and Winn Lee were in the "Iraq is hiding nukes" camp during the Iraq War. But not only was that not true (which our intelligence services would have known), it wouldn't have been to the scale or capability of Russia nukes. Now, there might be some geopolitical ripple from this Ukraine war that will be favorable to Biden. I'm far from an expert and I can't read all the tea leaves, but honestly I see this as being a negative to Biden. Now, if Biden had a roaring economy and a happy population, I don't think either Afghanistan or Ukraine would matter to the electorate all that much. But.. he doesn't have that currently, and that is what people will focus on in the next election, I think. Foreign policy concerns will be raised of course, but I don't see them being raised in a way that is favorable to Biden.
Still, Winn Lee's shockingly bad takes were an amusing reminder of the kind of people the US anime dubbing scene keeps on staff, and MovieBob agreeing with her is just the best.

I don't know. I used to like reading r/atheism mostly for laugh and 85% of the shit is the same three made-up stories which are:

-pwning the fundie inwhich the hedonist (atheist) proves how hypocritical and evil fundies are and everyone clapping
-deconverting the fundie where they waltz into the megachurch and deconvert the pastors by asking them "who created god?" with everyone clapping.
This is a pwning the fundie story but it doesnt involve any of the usual hyperboly or even pwning the fundie. Its just a slightly impolite guy who might have had a shitty day. The combination of Afghanistan, Chernobyl, Protesting in the Eastern Bloc and Reagan's Balls ended the Soviet Union and is the only reason the Ukraine had it freedom now.
