It's fucking June, and Bob's still in denial that Hillary lost for reasons other than sexism:

And also, Bob trash-talking Breaking Bad for appealing to "dorky sad-sacks" who wish they were powerful badasses. Again, this is Bob "Moviebob" Chipman we're talking about:

Bob calling other people resentful nerd man children with toxic fantasies is so hypocritical it hurts. I know it's been established for a long time that he has absolutely no self awareness, but I think he's dug the hole even further. How is this even possible? :stress:
:autism:

Yeah he couldn't get the complex storytelling of a good man that turns more and more into a monster as he does first what he can to help his family then going to unlock the monster inside of him.

Nor does he understand nuance. Was Walter always bad, just looking for a chance and excuse to express it? There's a lot of resentment in him, after all.

A discussion with Bob about complex characters would be like chatting with a brick wall, because Bob's worldview is so childishly Manichean you can't argue a goddamn thing with him. It's no wonder he loves comic book movies and primary-colored Nintendo games: no difficulty seeing who the good guys are supposed to be.

Well that is why he hates war movies where it brings up that nasty morally-grey questions that makes you wonder if the "good" guys are really good or any movie like Hacksaw Ridge that shows a religious man perform some of the bravest actions one could ever do without going to hurt a soul.

Most comic books have more moral depth than the Blob. At least Batman and the Big Blue Boy Scout have moments of introspection.

I thought he hated war movies because he's in that camp of American leftists who only like "important" war flicks about Marines raping little Afghan girls.

I bet he loves Full Metal Jacket for all the wrong reasons. I am mixed on the film as though it is a good movie, so many parts of it is to the realm of parody when it tries to have a juxtaposition between good "moral" folks and heartless killers. Though I doubt the bastard would would have enough foresight into that

But Bill Maher isn't 100% in lockstep with his beliefs, so off to the gulags for him.

Well at times Bill Maher can be a self-righteous and pompous douche, a curse that is afflicted apawn many a political commemorators, but he certainly isn't a deluded ideologue. It is this last reason is why Bob seems to currently be so against him.

He probably does not like Full Metal Jacket anymore because it has Adam Baldwin in it who created #GamerGate. Of course it is possible to enjoy an actor's performance and ignore any of their personal beliefs, but this is MovieBob were talking about.

Jesus effing Christ REALLY?! It's been eight months and MovieBob STILL hasn't accepted that Hilary lost because she was a shady candidate who tried way too hard to appeal to millenials?!

Sorry if I'm sperging out a bit, but the nigga needs to make like Elsa and let it go already.

Also lol at him not understanding "Breaking Bad."

He's one of many who haven't accept the fact that Hillary lost and will not be the US President.

Not that we need any more proof that Bob is an idiot...but I work in sheet metal and I am very confident that the "jerbs" my co-workers and I have will never be in danger of becoming obsolete due to machines. Only human beings could make our whole shop run. I was just thinking out this today, I'm sure it goes for many other blue collar "jerbs" too.
