Minor spergery, but as someone who lives surrounded by Raising Cane's and their wonderful chicken, the OP is misleading at best. Cane's has a ridiculously simple menu: three-, four-, and six-finger meals, or you can get three fingers on a bun as a chicken sandwich. That picture looks like either three four-finger or two six-finger meals shoved onto one tray to make it look like a single order. It's basically the same as the Mickey D's picture in that it's really not a single meal unless you're a deathfat with no impulse control.
I think he's referring to how back when it got used a lot in the west, there were articles claiming it's not the exactly same when the Chinese do it since it's from a point of view of baizuo not being "real communists" unlike themselves which isn't exactly how right-wingers use it. Really? I would have been led to believe that the Care Bears were originally used as marketing devices. (In fact, the Care Bears were, as the brand was created for the American Greetings greeting card company in 1981... and I have no problem admitting to watching The Care Bears Adventures in Wonderland multiple times as a child. Grumpy Bear's rap during the end credit roll was worth it.)
