The reason why I posted this retweet of a dog has to do with Bob and Dogs. On any given day, his retweets will be half "Gas the Conservatives" and half "Dog doing dog things so cute XD". It's the most jarring and childish thing to read and it reminds me of how I viewed dogs before my family eventually adopted one. The difference is, I got my vicarious dog sperging out of the way when I was 9, while Bob's still doing this at 36.
I think that Bob wants to be a dog owner, but beyond the terrifying thought of Bob having to care for another creature, Dogs require more care and attention than he realizes. Beyond having to do basic things like food and water, dogs love stimulation. For example, every day I take my dog to a park near my house so we can both run around and get some exercise/fresh air and it's my favorite part of the day. Is Bob exceptional to the point where he seriously thinks his fat ass can keep up with a dog? Or will he just half-ass it and let the dog go in the yard and let it get as fat and lazy as he is?
TL;DR Bob is fat and should not be let anywhere near dogs.
He's surprisingly measured about the whole thing, with him calling it "Good Enough" in a tweet.
