I've tried reading that three times over and it still doesn't make any sense. So, "diverse" characters don't need flaws because "oppression" means they deserve boring, masturbatory Mary Sue fantasies? I would think most real people regardless of race wouldn't want to read boring crap, but I don't think Bob has ever seen a real minority much less talked to one. Meanwhile white characters need flaws because their biggest struggles are mundane crap like gym class. Glad to see Bob finding new ways to be a presumptuous dick.

Although I guess gym class would be a pretty big struggle for Bob.

I was compelled for obvious reasons to remember the passing of my mom, which powerleveling aside, completely unmanned me for weeks, and it was months before I really began to recover, and just like Bob's dad it was after a long and difficult illness. And so I thought I should take it easy for a bit, because certainly, I thought, Bob would be too.

And yet this is what's on his mind as his father is being prepared for his eternal rest:

It's hard to tell on Twitter, because it's never at all clear how much is the real person and how much is just a created persona (something you'd think Bob might remember about God-Emperor Trump from time to time). But if this is the real Bob we're seeing, not just a digital mask he's putting on because he doesn't want to share his grief with the world (and really, I wouldn't blame him for that), then we're seeing a highly disturbing pattern of stunted if not nonexistent empathy from him.

The problem is that deep down Bob honestly doesn't care. From so many Twitter posts, his videos, his Mario Manifesto, his Euphoric Atheist stance, have convinced me the man has no empathy for anyone other than himself. I truly believe he doesn't even care about minorities and women either, with the only reasons being to appear to be the "good guy" and wanting to fuck a feminist dangerhair. Among all the lolcows on this site, aside from the rapists and murderers we document and comment on, Bob in my eyes is certainly one of the most loathsome of them all. He has no redeeming qualities from his history of having genocidal rants against all that disagree with his batshit insane stances, his tangling with eugenics, his contempt for Constitution, his tepid care of his family, and lest we forget the shielding he does of despicable people that share his viewpoints.

His behavior is definitely peculiar, to say the least. I'd understand it more if he thought his dad was a complete piece of shit and he was tapdancing on the old man's grave. And in fact, I'd almost believe it, because boy would it explain a lot about him. I'd understand going the other way, too, just grieving and staying quiet for a bit. But putting up sympathy-seeking tweets and then immediately going back to the same tired crap he spews about day and night is just ... weird.

I suppose the Quest for Asspats even transcends parental death.
