This is kinda back but I want to speak on this, it never ceases to amaze me how fucking stupid Bob is. I mean come the fuck on, how do you not get cosmic horror. I'm not saying you have to like cosmic horror, but the fear of the unknown being so incomprehensible and the fear or being inconsequential to beings that are so far beyond our ability to understand that we would go mad trying to is not RACISM, anybody who's too lazy and stupid to try to understand that shouldn't be a critic. When RLM did their review, they didn't spend 20-30 minutes ranting about fountainhead or Watchmen, or any number of other things as well. Something that Plinkett said in the beginning rings true, Brevity is the soul of wit, AKA stop wasting my time with tangents that other reviewers can get out in less than 13 minutes and actually tie in very concisely. The main difference between the two is that Bob is taking forever to get to the point, and comes off as an incoherent mess, whereas RLM is constantly making their point known and easy to follow.

I have to say that, despite knowing all of the spergy weirdness that Linkara has done, the most disappointing thing I find about him is his continued friendship with MovieBlab. Linkara is (supposedly) a Christian and has a down-to-earth Midwestern family and MovieBob not only shits on these things on a regular basis, he has a genocidal hatred of the nuclear family and Christianity. If you're a Christian and have even vaguely traditional values, then being friends with MovieBob is like being friends with a guy who uses your front doorstep as his toilet. "Oh, it's okay if he lays a steaming turd on my welcome mat every morning! We both share the exact same views about that evil Drumpf guy so it's okay!"

For that matter, why is MovieBob's family continuing to support him? Haven't they read any of his screeds against the working class? Don't they know of the absolute degeneracy he espouses, of his desire to replace the Nuclear family with a free love society? Do they know about his support of sexual harassers like Devin Faraci? Does Bob's brother know about the depth of his hatred for his maleness and his whiteness? Has anyone ever talked to Bob's family on Twitter and pointed out to them how much of a Hitlerian jerk Bob is? I'm a pretty easygoing person when it comes to lifestyle choices and living and letting live, but if I had someone like Bob in my family, I'd make it a point never to let my children around him and I'd give him hell on a regular basis. I just don't see how such a normal, functional family like the one Bob has can tolerate him so much.

I think it's pure envy. RLM is funnier, sharper, better-respected, and -- especially with Jay and Mike -- clearly know a hell of a lot more about the art and craft of filmmaking.
