Also, natch, no explanation about what makes O'Keefe "bad"

Just "he's bad and bad things deserve to happen to bad people"

While on a metaphysical level, that may be true, but when you can't even objectively lay out what the "bad" is, then you're just being a dime-store sociopath that's apparently wishing death upon others who've merely displeased your sensibilities.

Bob strikes me as someone who's always had issues with seeing shades of grey and with moderating his emotional response to people who annoy him, but being Extremely Online has got to make things exponentially worse. This is what happens when you never have to deal with someone as a human being, and are free to fill in the numerous blanks with your own biases and vitriol. I've said it before, but nothing would help Bob so much as getting off Twitter and forcing himself to interact with the real world on a more substantial level.

Bob only played Other M.
I just realized that memory of Other M has entirely vaporized except for
1) Not using the Varia Suit until ordered to.
2) Stupid thumbs-down gesturing.
3) A self-sacrifice that only happened because the jettison controls were installed on the wrong side of the door.
4) One joke from Zero Punctuation.
5) One cosplayer - from the days when some people still pronounced it co-splay, so a fit blonde in a Zero Suit was still novel - who said she found the Metroid games at a low point in her life and Samus's strength through adversities inspired her to stop being self-destructive and improve herself. Imagine if Bob had found a hero that required him to get in shape to cosplay rather than grow facial hair! Other M had just come out and an entire thread of nerds stopped thirstposting long enough to collectively ask "Has she seen Other M yet? Can... can someone hide it from her?"

Facial pubes and failing podcast. We sure he's not a lost Chipman brother?

Oh, sorry, I'm disrespecting his pronouns! Let me try again:

Facial pubes and failing podcast. We sure him's not a lost Chipman brother?

He feels the need to point out that HE'S the straight one on his...ugh...podcast. Don't bother listening to it. It's not even funny. It's just insufferable.

You actually listened to it to find out? Deserve a medal for that one.

Writes characters to be tragic? Do wanna tell that to his character Cobra, his character from Expendables, or his character from Bullet to the head? Let's be real, Sly's only "tragic" character is Rambo and even he went out the window around Rambo 3 which he wrote.
Rocky was also written by Stallone. He may look like a meathead but he is business savyy. The same way Marilyn Monroe was. He plays the part of a meathead because that's what people think he is. He knows his audience.

The facial paralysis fools a lot of people into thinking he's a moron. He's anything but. Morons don't win multiple Oscars on their first major picture, nor do they survive trainwrecks like Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.

I didn't know that Rocky used guns, I must've missed that movie. I think you are kinda missing the point, for a guy who's outspoken against firearms, to make a character like Cobra that basically preaches about how police should use excessive violence and guns to solve their problems, does make the dude come off as a huge hypocrite. That's not playing a meathead like Rocky, that's literally playing a character who goes against the shit he preaches, said character was written by Stallone and at NO point is he ever called out for his actions, it's not seen as wrong, nor does he ever stop and reflect on it, he is fully made to be of the correct opinion right down to having a huge plot device where the Internal Affair guys are made to be pussies.

People only remember the Varia suit but there are several instances in the game where she could use a certain upgrade nad just doesnt:
1) The adolescent ridley battle (or mystery creature according to the game) her current veam does jack shit why cant she activate her plasma beam and fry it? But okay maybe the heat of the moment didnt allow her to do so
2) The wave beam: there is a part where you get trapped in a glass cage and enemies have beams that pierce the walls but you are currently defenseless and Samus doesnt activate her Wave beam until Adam tells her to, fucking why?
3)The deleter: the game just drops this plot point and flrgets about it, sure you can figure out who he was based on clues the game drops, but in a game where we pretty much hear all of Samus' thought proccesses the fact that she doesnt mention it again makes it seem like she forgot about it.
4)The fucking thumbs down(you already mentioned it but I'm feeling spergy today) this fucking thing could have been handles much better, Fusion states that the phrase "Any objections lady?" was a sign of trust between the two, so Samus doing a thumbs down in response could have been handled as an extention of that, meaning that they were sl close and had so much trust in each other that Adam would jokingly ask if she had any objections and her doing the thumbs down would be her way of saying "yeah the mission sucks" in a similar manner, instead we get Samus sperging about how she resents being called a lady and shit (when in fusion she doesnt seem to mind).

He shares this trait with most twitter leftists they have a meltdown over the pettiest of shit and have trouble comprehending simple concepts like "just because someone disagreed with you on twitter doesn't mean he is evil incarnate"

Robert is a vindictive authoritarian reactionary straight white male. Maybe he once had progressive principles but he's thrown those all away especially since Trump in favor of supporting barely anything beyond literal violence against and permanent misfortune for people he perceives as his enemies. The fact that he lockstep rabidly supports the Democratic Party always is the only reason he's "welcomed" (not really though) into the open arms of his fellow blue checks in the media, film criticism, social justice circles, etc.

He would be utterly pathetic in this case alone, but the fact of his reality is even worse and actually makes me sad to consider him existing as anything beyond shitty unsupported opinions, incredibly wrong factual statements and desperate performative outbursts on Twitter.

The thing is that Bob always had those principles even before Trump. He was never progressive, he used to be a more libertarian sort of guy but then went full throttle into authoritarianism because it pissed off the “right people” and gleefully was awaiting Hillary to become president so the Mayo Ghouls are obsolete forever and the Superior Future could happen. Any progressive or woke principles he has is performative just so he can have a chance to date feminists or get in social circles more liked online like when he pretended to support Bernie Sanders after Kamala dropped out.

Boy, this Moviebob guy sure does hate democracy, due process, and pretty much everything else that doesn't let people with his preferred views enact a totalitarian state, huh?
With the documented history of each homicidal, enraged, illogical, poorly punctuated thought published for everyone to read, specifically himself, it terrifies me that Bob constantly blames society's ills on the fact that he and people like him don't have ENOUGH power.

I can't tell you who the insufferable 1787 Movie Bob was at the time, but the framers of The Constitution knew of him. They didn't hang out with his dumb ass, but they knew that guy still waving his dick around about the Gulliver's Travels cinematic universe. They drafted the finest document in history that has, and will continue to exclude Chipmannus-Bloatus Basementius from having any meaningful authority. The system works.

MovieBob's 1787 version almost certainly wound up in an asylum, a prison, dead from some childhood issue, or dumped in a shallow grave after badmouthing the wrong person.

Come to think of it, though, "MovieBob Through the Ages" could be a helluva funny gag. Like Moorcock's Eternal Champion, but a fat sweaty misanthrope with delusions of grandeur.

Every day he pounds 88 messages into the town board about how great it was when hereditary rule kept ye thinkers in charge. The Revolutionary War was just a plot for white males to harass women... somehow.

I'm fairly certain I know what people in the country he would have considered ghouls for living in the rural south, being poor, and uneducated. He definitely wouldn't have considered them human.

"One dasn't call the Negro 'human,' mine bosom friendo. Their darkened continent is awash in Superstitious Backward BELIEVING, not forward righteous THINKING of the Magisterial Future! They are, manifestly, BAD, and therefore DESERVE to be OWNED. Do not expect me to gnash my teeth over such eventualities." *pounds double sized tankard of rum*

Ah, the Eternal Chumpion, caught forever between the eight-pointed arrow of Believers and the single straight arrow to the superior future of Thinkers. Truly a tale for the ages. It could even cross over with Doctor Who.

Bob's comments on the Rittenhouse trial prove to me that his believer/thinker dichotomy is utter bullshit. It is obvious that he paid no attention to the prosecution's "star" witness basically imploded the state's case and blatantly ignored why said prosecutor's antics brought the ire of the judge. The Boston Bumpkin is no thinker, he simply listens to what the far-left media reports on the trial and believes it with religious conviction.

When strip away his bullshit "philosophy", it is a fig leaf for Bob's authoritarian belief (which is sadly not atypical of millennials) that there is only truth in power. Yet the funny thing is that Bob is--at best--the villain's sidekick who is only "powerful" because he latches onto the so-called Progressive establishment despite their obvious contempt for him. Yeah, sorry, but yelling at people on Twitter every day is not strength or power. If anything, it demonstrates how weak he truly is because I see restraint and introspection as signs of strength--two qualities Bob completely lacks.

I haven't really been keeping up on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Let's check Robert's Twitter feed.

Oh, Robert's advocating for unconstitutional shit., involving the DOJ overreaching and acting on his beliefs. So I'm assuming that it's looking like Kyle will go free.

I assume he's hoping for some federal civil rights charges a la what they did to the LAPD over Rodney King and were planning to do to Chauvin if he was acquitted. That virtually never flies with defendants who aren't actually cops or otherwise agents of the state, and it's legally questionable to begin with.

As much as I like Sylvester Stallone's movies I find it utterly ridiculous how much of a flaming hypocrite he is. But that hardly makes him unique in Hollywood. Fuck every single one of those rich assholes.

I see Bob is still an angry virgin fatass well into his 40s though so I guess that ain't news.
