We have recently discussed the false equivalence between transsexualism and left-handedness in one of our tranny threads, but I can't find it.

Dear Kiwis, have you picked your enemies?
I was going to but then Bob decided everyone within 500 miles of me should be gassed. I like some of those people.
He didn't choose the Twitter sperg life, the Twitter sperg life chose him?
If societies can stand to cohere ("cohese" is not a word, Mr. Cultural Elite) less, why should we demand workers to march in lockstep with liberal "progressives"?
For once, I forgive him for not knowing the right word. Based on his writing, it's obvious he doesn't know the meaning of the word "coherent".
Because I'm a word nerd and decided to look it up:
Cohere and
adhere become
cohesion and
adhesion because in Latin when you change a verb like haereō, "I stick", to a noun, the ending changes. In this case it looks more like "haesiō" though that's not a word by itself in the same way "hesion" itself isn't. Not the only place you see one of haereō's children though - see also "inherent". Once you realize that you can sort of see the meanings of each.
cohere: to stick with
adhere: to stick to
inhere - yes it's a word: to stick in.
(Edit to avoid doublepost.)
I notice Bob fans (who aren't speds or troons) tend to skew a good bit younger and outgrow him. As someone who's got a few years on Bob, I always thought he was completely full of shit, even on the rare occasions I encountered him before Gamergate.
I'm a bit older than he is, and I watched him on the Escapist, mainly because I went there daily for the forums and I watched the current video while there. Movies aren't my long suit, and everyone had crap video quality back then, so it was probably a month or so before I realized precisely how bad he was. Don't think I'd call myself a fan, though, anymore than I'd call myself a fan of the people who did their video game reviews that I also watched. Hell, their entire stable of reviewers is condensed in my mind to Russ Pitts, Russ's wife, that guy who claimed to love film noir but always pronounced it wrong, and that guy with a name as unfortunate as Russ - Steve Butts.
