I would like to point out though as fun as it is to call Bob a fascist his beliefs actually are pretty counter to how fascism usually manifests. If I were to assign a bunch of "isms" to his beliefs, I'd label him a post-national Maoist.

But he and many of these people support government intervention in the economy (fascist regimes had a firm hand on their nations economies) and funding of the arts and sciences (as Nazi Germany in particular did) among other stances also endorsed by fascist regimes. What really sets them apart is their embracing of egalitarianism and rejection of nationalism, which is why they gravitate towards left-wing authoritarian ideologies that offer all the "good" things about fascism without any of the "problematic" elements.

I have a feeling Bob is frustrated that he's getting older and also a diabetic while the world doesn't exactly praise him.Sure he has some fans that will praise even him when taking a dump but overall he's a borderline middle aged guy who is obsessed with superhero movies primarily Marvel and Mario.
And he cannot seem to grasp why most people even if they enjoy this or that superhero movie will not waste 10 hours a day reading up on why Captain America is this or that way.Primarily because most people have a life outside of going over the smallest details of why the Avengers were great.
Then again mediocre online film critics don't really understand why not everyone is like them.

They've even admitted a few times that "fascism" is just the word they use to describe people who disagree with them. It has nothing to do with a short-lived political movement in Europe in the 30s and 40s, which is why I find it so annoying when they pull the "We've beaten them before, we can do it again" shit. Even more so when you understand that antifa would spit on the kind of people who actually fought REAL NAZIS. Mostly white, straight, Christian, men with what we would call conservative values. And understand how they changed the definition of racism too because the old definition made them look bad. Part of their tactics are to take words that the general public know are bad. Racism is bad, fascism is bad, so if you start accusing people of these things using your brand new definition of those words, you can sweep up a few of them before they realise they've been duped.

So if all of Europe went against progress during World War 2 why did we develop so much technology like computers, rockery, jet engines, medicine, communications and more? And didn't the great Empires of the time start giving up their colonies around that time or shortly after?
