Can someone remind me again how exactly this guy's able to land a job when he holds such vitriolic attitudes and ideas? Somehow I don't think I'd land too many jobs if I endorsed eugenics, genocide, and political violence on my social media platforms (using my real name and face no less).

Well I saw Dunkirk and I have to tell Chippy is full of shit. I don't know why Bob feels that all movies need "muh emotions" in them when this movie's emotions are in the intensity and dread of the perceptive of the British soldiers, pilots, and civilian sailors. Much of the reason i feel Bob does an A-log in the first minute is simply to spite the "Nolan fanboys" because he perceives them to be some shitty dude-bro stereotype. I don't know why Bob also has to feel that the movie needed blood and gore in this war movie when it worked perfectly fine without it. The movie is also great at a visual level going to at times make you feel you are watching colored WWII footage from the battlefront.

Ultimately, fuck Bob and I give this film a fantastic 9/10. Please go out and support films like these so we stop getting nothing but superhero movies.

Pretty much. Think of it like that: "Blue Collar Worker" is what Bob associates with people working in jobs that does not "fit" the future he imagines. A future where everything is clear and only focused on entertainment and progress in technological fields aimed at improving entertainment.
there is nothing "entertaining" about manufacturing for Bob, so he wants all the robots to replace workers.
Not to forget, if there are no "poor" people, no one to focus on the darker sides of such a future.

Really, not much blood in a war movie? Then again, thinking about it, some of the best war movies are pretty restrained on the gore. Still, I'm in. Movie sounds great.

Your review was two paragraphs long, and I feel more inclined to see this movie now then I ever did watching Bob's review. (I was already planning on seeing it.)

I prefer to say a few words and I could honestly go more in depth about how much the film gets correct and how much this film breaks all normal conventions of war movies, but I prefer to say little so I don't spoil it for others. Bob is just a jackass who feels he has to slight the movie just because it is a Nolan movie, rather than call out legitimate flaws of it.

The only negative comments that I've seen about Valkyrie have been about the fact that she is a POC in the MCU when, being based on Norse myth, the comic depicts her as being white with blonde hair and blue eyes.
