This is quite simply one of the stupidest things he's ever said (something for which I admit there is stiff competition). An anesthesiologist's job is based purely on observation, mathematical measurements, and empirical experience. His religious beliefs mean exactly fuck-all. You're better off worrying about whether or not he abuses the substance of his trade (which is sadly common) than you are worrying about what books of the Bible he believes in.

I dunno, maybe it's because I spent the last few days driving around a rural stretch of the country and talking to and meeting some very nice, very decent people that I'm finding Bob's horseshit especially galling today.

I've been saying this for awhile but I seriously hope this overlooked fact leads to "PURE EUROPEAN GENETICS" ranting from Bob. If demographics worked the way progressives see it than America would be home to black people only by now on merit having having the darkest skin. I don't think you can completely get rid of people who are "white" with interracial marriage, you'd need eugenics or something and good luck getting people on board for genocide and inbreeding that'd fuck yourself over in the long run anyways.

It still amazes me how much both the Dem's and idiots like Bob bought into that one horrible catch phrase as their entire political philosophy. "Demographics is Destiny" without ever once doing an ounce of historical examination. Real Political Scientists saw the flaw with that from the moment John Judis first postulated it. It's exactly the same as the Dem's constant cries of "We have all the youth, so the Right is dying off, and it will be all Democrats in the future". Somehow they never notice that the Dem's have had all the youth for over 100 years, yet the party balance never changed. It's the same thing with immigrants. The Dem's have total capture of first generation immigrants. By second generation it's about 50-60 percent. By third generation their allegiance corresponds to age and personal economic interests the same as everybody else. A 3rd gen Latino is a Catholic voter indistinguishable from Italian, Irish, etc descent.

I've said it before in this thread but the whole "Demographics is Destiny" thing is basically a load of shit in the long run, not least because it doesn't account for people tending to become more conservative as they get older, see more of the world and start paying taxes etc

In the UK Jews, Hindus + Sikhs voted to leave the EU (generally considered a more conservative stance although this isn't strictly speaking accurate) by a larger margin than White British did, similarly they tend to vote basically in line with White British at General Elections.
Ethnic divisions aren't so much a factor in voting as class divisions are - if you're poor it might be in your best interest to vote Dem/Labour in the UK for whatever reason regardless of your race. Similarly, if you run a successful small business you probably wont take much convincing that the party that wants to lower business taxes is the one for you, regardless of whether you were born in a country or if you moved there 25 years ago.

You're thinking of Freeman talking about his dislike of Black History Month and the implication that black Americans aren't just Americans. I was more talking about the "progressive" belief that non-whites are all "brown-ish" people with silly cultures who will eternally vote Dem and having one family member who isn't white also makes you into one of those cartoonish stereotypes. It's a really bad over-simplification and not really how it works. It's also kinda weird how they don't see it with how often progressives complain about both "Uncle Toms" and people who pass for white.
