I admit I never saw the movie myself but my girlfriend has mentioned a couple of times how she finds it bizarre how SJW types like Get Out when the movie is mocking how they come off as condescending weirdos. She thinks they lack the self-awareness to "get" it and instead do the usual "There was a black guy so I clapped!".

Riddle me this, if Bob had the power to enact his genocidal fantasy, knew there were liberal voters in the "Wasteland" part of America, and he had the ability to nuke it all at the push of a button, would he make an effort to try and evacuate those people to the coastal cities? Basically yeah the film is quite sharp in its critique of middle america and it's interactions with black people. Largely discussing the loss of self attempts to integrate into the whole can and do have. Bob almost certainly didn't get the movie.
That said it isn't really an Oscar level film and Hollywood never respects horror anyway.

Doesn't it also mock some liberal ideologies as well or am I'm being misinformed? Because from what I remember from watching the film, the family were liberal as the father said he would have voted for Obama for a third term if he could.

To be frank, I think Bob would write them off as an acceptable loss because they would be traitors for rejecting his "utopia." Bob has no empathy for others despite his own fondness for his family so he cannot comprehend why someone would want to leave to be with theirs.

Additionally, Bob's coastal elites would die of starvation within months if he pressed that button because the vast majority of them could not grow their own food and Bob's moon wheat is only a fantasy.
