Even if any of that mattered, I'm failing to see the discrimination in Apu existing. It's not any more discriminatory than any other character in the Simpsons existing... I will say the following about Bob's rambling about Apu: Yes, he and his portrayal of indian culture are in some way obviously based rather on some "western" tv fairytale version of indian culture.
But guess what: This is essentially the only way most people, probably also many indians in America, know of India to begin with. Why? because they do not live in India itself. Not just that, but thanks to how western ideas are managing to get across the globe for over a century, the "indian" culture gets more and more westernized anyway.

Now this might be because I'm a pretentious faggot who shops at organic market places and does their best to avoid crappy convenience stores, but is the Indian immigrant running a 7-11 really such a prevalent demographic of people that it can be called a stereotype?

Indians in the US tend to own small businesses, including convenience stores, fast-food franchises (especially Subways), hotel chains, and Indian restaurants. Sometimes they hire family members to work at the businesses they own (especially Indian restaurants), but they usually just hire local employees. Nothing wrong with this--Indian immigrants are among the most affluent groups in the US thanks to their high rate of business ownership, and the fact they tend to go into fields like medicine and such.

So yes, Indians owning convenience stores is a huge demographic.

Intelligence tests are a freud in itself to some degree.
See, there is a difference between knowledge and intelligence. For example, Bob can read as many books as he wants, if he does use the knowledge he learns through the books to any use or make connections between information, he is not really all that intelligent to begin with.
Furthermore, intelligence tests were once invented to just determine if a kid was smart enough to leave kindergarten and join elementary school (in other words, they are the most simplistic form of intelligence) and if anything, they are meant to test a basic level of being able to use logic and associations to solve a problem.
For example, the riddle "A roster stands on a roof with four sides, each side directing in one direction (north, south, east,w est) . The roster lays an egg. in which direction does the egg roll?
Answer: Of course none, cause rosters are male.

This is a very logical question to see if someone is able to actually get to identify the "trap" in the question instead of taking it just for granted.

So, Bob wants grown up adults to take a test invented to measure how smart kids are? What would it say if he fails something Ralph Wiggum would have no problems to solve?

Seriously, I hope George Lucas grows a pair and buy back Lucasfilm before Iger and Kathleen Kennedy drive the franchise to the ground further by appealing to Bob and his ilk.

This was in put movie group when we were watching foreign films. We watched Baahubali (bollywood epic - it's on netflix) and some there started complaining that the fantasy world it takes place in had some noticeable western touches. Bob does have a narrow out. He has stated before that conservatives are too dumb to function. Somewhere on here is him saying James Damore is clearly too dumb to work at google because of his beliefs.
