Starship Troopers is more space korean war then Space Vietnam. As you said, the book came out in 59, only a few years after the korean war "ended" (the hot phase of it). I wonder if even one of them has read the book ( of course they haven't) as the book touch on many issues that makes it worth a read.

Does Bob actually know when the Vietnam War was fought? I'm starting to have my doubts.
