I take solace that no woman will ever procreate with him.You know, Bob Chipman is that special kind of infuriatingly smug. The kind that makes you want to punch him in the face until his eyeballs switch places. I guess the karmic balance for this kind of behavior is that nobody will hire someone as notorious as him, except for maybe a mop job. Once he loses his job as a reviewer (He's not one of the reviewers whose career will survive in the long run), he is pretty much fucked.

A quick google tells me that it's a term Stan Lee used in a monthly news page called "Bullpen Bulletins" he used to write in the backs of Marvel Comics, "Distinguished Competion" there was a code word DC comics. I'm guessing here Chipman is using it to mean he wants a scene where Starlord watches Batman Vs Superman and bitches about how shit it is? At least that's what I gathered.Anybody know what The Distinguished Competition is suppose to be?![]()
Plus it doesn't make a lick of sense why a DCEU movie would be featured in the MCU. I guess the DC swipes in Deadpool 2 were not satisfying enough for Bobbo.A quick google tells me that it's a term Stan Lee used in a monthly news page called "Bullpen Bulletins" he used to write in the backs of Marvel Comics, "Distinguished Competion" there was a code word DC comics. Honestly, when I first googled it I was expecting to see it be a reference to Republicans or something. I know Chipman likes shitting on DC films but wanting a dedicated scene in a Marvel film do that just seems childishly petty.

There is this, which is close enough.A FPS Mario game might actually cause Bob to kill himself.
Bob's 37. Just thought I'd bring that up.

Bob's such a fat fuck, you'd probably total your car without him even noticing. So if I'm sober and I run you over, you'd be okay with it?
*Frantically searches for car keys*

There was a brief period of time where both companies were the comic books in the other's universe. So in DC they would read about Captain America & Spiderman, while in Marvel the characters there would read about Superman and Batman. It was an entertaining gag that both sides were fiction in the other's universe.Plus it doesn't make a lick of sense why a DCEU movie would be featured in the MCU. Stan Lee also released a comic book that was basically his vision of Superman, or something like that. I also know that in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency, Joseph Joestar is seen reading an issue of Superman on a plane, so it isn't limited to just Marvel and DC reading books from other pieces of media. There was a brief period of time where both companies were the comic books in the other's universe. That they could do something like that in the movies between DC and Marvel would be a nice treat but I'm not sure anybody involved nowadays is adult enough to allow it.
Who taught all the lolcows I follow "impostor syndrome"? Because I swear I see it more and more each day as they try to justify the moments reality starts creeping in on their delusions. How narcissistic do you have to be to think self reflection that comes up negative is "impostor syndrome" instead of your subconscious telling you to better yourself? If it already takes Bob hours to delude himself back into his I wonder what will happen once he can't delude himself and reality sets in?Exercise, eat right, get plenty of rest and stay healthy everyone.
