Tha would be Funny because Gunn criticized the comic guys. Back when Perlmutter was calling the shots at Marvel Studios he created the Marvel Committee which was comic guys advising the films and they got the boot when Feige took over and Gunn said it was nice not dealing with Committees anymore apparently they wanted to kill the awesome mix tape which was Gunn's idea because they and Perlmutter didn't want to pay for the music. But a Bob Comic Pros crossover would be amusing if true.

Clearly, with the ability to read the minds of all of his political opponents and know their true intentions, Bob should be making millions of dollars as a psychic. There's a lot of predictions that after infinity war, the cape bubble will pop and people will attend superhero movies less.
Also because of union contracts, the workers' salaries raise every time they come back.
Now GotG being ensemble cast AND special effects-heavy scifi is NOT cheap on any scale. If the cape bubble pops, then GotG would be set up to be the worst money loser of the lineup. For Disney, they could be thrilled to ditch the director and much of the cast for a chance to bring in cheaper replacements. It also wouldn't surprise me if they are putting things on hold to see how the market looks after AIW2. If the market dips, even if they rehired Gunn the project might be scrapped as a bad investment.

Does he not understand that is beloved capeshit movies are only valuable because they make so much money for Disney? In any conflict in a billion-dollar industry between the creative side and the business side the business side is always going to win. I'm sure Disney has done some research and has concluded that outside the fevered and adolescent fantasies of twitter no significant leftist market will actually boycott the movie over James Gunn, whereas if people know a director thinks pedophile jokes were funny as hell until very recently, large numbers of Christians and right-wing culture warriors absolutely will. They've already seen with the Star Wars franchise what happens when the leftist market loves a movie and the the normies and MAGAs stay home. They'll stay home because media in general is not nearly as important to the Christians on the one hand, and way too important to the culture warriors. The SJWs will show up anyway because they love their escapist fantasies.

Bob's politics have always made no sense, but also been completely predictable. There are multiple examples in his early days where does things like condemns feminists, and is in favour of free speech. It got to the point where you could debunk his more recent videos and rants by showing him his own old videos and rants.
There was a Q and A video he did back in the day where people brought up these contradictions, asking him things like "What's the difference between Anita Sarkeesian and Jack Thompson?" and he brushed them off with a generic "nuance". He never explained what that "nuance" was, just that it was the difference.

It's a stupid SJW argument. I've seen others use it before (including him). They essentially like to bitch about how when a killer who is white gets reported on the media uses his full name, but it isn't done for black people or other races. They argue that this is being done in order to help us "sympathize" with the white killer.
In other words, Bob's is just finding something random to bitch about.
