And another reason why all this gets minorities removed from media. Because no matter what you are going to get accused of racism so best to just leave them out.

Again, look at how Bob is all about "reactions" to it and barely mentions the scene, performance etc. That's the problem with him and his ilk-it's not about the story any more.

The thing about people like Bob is that they don’t actually watch movies, they inspect movies. Think of it less as someone walking into a theatre and more like a health inspector walking into a restaurant with a clipboard to tick off boxes. They detach themselves from what they see and shut off any deeper emotions, and go through the motions mechanically.

One of the more obnoxious things about Bob's T2 sperging is that, in the context of the film, Miles Dyson's race is completely irrelevant. No comment is made on it and it has no bearing on the plot. He's just a brilliant scientist who happens to be black. You know, the way representation was supposed to be handled until about five minutes ago and he was supposed to have African tribal masks all over his house and doing TED talks in a daishiki just so we'd get how AWESOME his blackness is.

Yeah I've never seen any racial overtones in that scene just a family being attacked by a deranged woman who believed she was doing what was right. But its hilarious that the only remedy to Bob's complaint would be denying a black actor work to avoid looking racist.
