I bet Bob would be thrilled though if Rian Johnson or James Gunn turned his stupid book into a movie, but that would be some fantasy clown world.

The film could end with Princess Peach getting Stockholm Syndrome and sodomizing Mario with his own plunger while Bowser jacks it in the corner. Bob's reaction would be amusing.

Since "Brick by Brick" is Bob's autobiography disguised as the development history of Mario 3, I'd 100% watch it. The story of a mentally handicapped, morbidly obese man with delusions of grandeur and fascist tendencies trying to constantly escape his awful life into the Mushroom Kingdom, but failing would be incredibly entertaining.

Okay, so by that logic from Bob, culture, art, knowledge, science, technology, education, thought and business all have to thrive in blue states and red states can’t, even though the red states’ people are responsible for producing the shit for the things Bob advocates for.

The problem with the whole Red vs. Blue States thing is that they don't exist in a vacuum like Bob thinks. There are Red parts of Blue States and Blue parts of Red States. There are very few uniformly Red or Blue States.
And of course there have been prominent Liberals from Red States and prominent Conservatives from Blue States.
Like just for one example Kevin McCarthy the House Majority Leader and most likely the next Speaker of the House is a Republican and from California. Bakersfield to be precise.
And on the other side of the aisle for the better part of Nancy Pelosi's life California was regarded as a Red State. Same thing with Bernie Sanders and Vermont.
But yeah nuance and complexity elude Bob. Shocking I know.

Bob constantly fails to realize that the red states contribution to the nation is resources and labour that the blue states need to keep their own cities running. Also, he ignores (though I wonder if he does do willfully) the fact that Texas is a major centre for commerce, science/technology, and culture. Remember when I said that I would not go to Boston because of the Bob lives near it? I will rephrase my position: I have no desire to go to Boston because it looks--frankly--boring to me. Cities like San Antonio, New Orleans, and Nashville are all places in "Flyover Country" I would like to visit because of the local culture. I will not deny Boston's historical importance, but culturally and economically it will forever be in the shadow of New York City.

His obsession with diversity has also proven to be a historical folly. Take a look at both the Soviet Union and the former Yugoslavia as two examples where "multicultural" societies collapsed, and cataclysmically in the case of the latter. The main reason United States succeeded was because immigrants where expected to integrate into the nation's mainstream culture. Yes, there were always nativist movements, but many immigrants adapted and thrived in their new homeland regardless. Given how Bob and his ideological cohorts denigrate American mainstream (particularly when it comes to the Red States) and eliminate it by importing migrants to culturally and replace entire populations by giving the newcomers no incentive to integrate into the host nation's culture.

Look at Canada. Our (current year) Prime Minister declared that the country was a post-national state with no core identity or mainstream, which I believe is unravelling our national fabric. We have hundreds of First Nations bands that believe themselves to be nation-states and our Constitution requires consultation with them, which have made major projects insanely difficult or even outright impossible to start because individual bands and an activist judiciary can change the goalposts on regulations. Case in point, the Trans-Mountain Expansion.

But was does Bob care in the grand scheme of things? He does not produce anything. He is effectively a cultural parasite.



I would like to see James do an in-character review of the book as the AVGN so he could rip Bob a new one.
