And then I saw your face
Now I'm a believer
And not a trace
Of doubt in my mind

Does this even rise to the level of black-and-white thinking? I know Bob believes a lot of stuff (like that his family has an unlimited willingness to carry his fat ass) so is he saying he's awful? I mean, I agree, but...

No, I need to stop thinking about this. He's a fat(uous) layabout who fritters away his life oinking out his petty hatreds on Twitter. I should join the real world and stop giving a damn about his existence.

The smugness in that post is only matched by the self-evident lack of realizing what side the accuser is really on.

This is Homer Simpson "There are two kinds of people at college, jocks, and nerds. As a jock, it's my job to make fun of the nerds..." played 100% straight.

What's odd about Bob's statement is that sometimes there are times when a person has to think, and other times when a person has to believe. For instance, I think MovieBob's concept of the world, its culture and politics was cemented right about the time he got his first Mario game (about the same time Reagan was running America, hawkish neocons were taking over the Republican party and just about the time that televangelists like Jim Bakker were being found out as perverted frauds.) I believe that Bob is stupid enough to think that the world hasn't changed at all since he was a child (technology innovations aside,) and that his political conception of said world hasn't changed one iota since he was in high school.

I also believe that Bob's heart and liver are in a competition to see which of them can fail first.

His heart if he keeps with the eating.

I agree- everyone is some mix of thinking and believing, and frankly I don't think that the difference in thought:belief ratios between the thinkingest thinkers and the believingest believers is that high. Humans are really good at heuristics, so we form beliefs rapidly from incomplete evidence because that's how we're designed to work- as much of our thought is devoted to rationalizing our beliefs as forming them.

Or you can really disappear down the rabbit hole of philosophy and ponder that all thinking is based upon the belief that you are thinking your own thoughts and have accurate data from your senses instead of being manipulated by aliens or super-advance robots plugging you into some kind of matrix.

And you humans keep believing that...

I would bet good money that it will be his heart. Hell, I will go the extra mile and say that it will give out on November 3, 2020 after Trump is re-elected as President of the United States.

A supposedly fun thing he'll never do again.

If he can't even pay attention to Marvel movies, what make you think he pays attention to football?

TenNapel was successful, has a family and has a house. I think he's the winner here.

I'm puzzled, what is this fun thing he's talking about, and what has it to do with my trashtalking?

wow, not even "Grandpa Bob".

Give him points for being honest with himself about that.

There are wetbrain alcoholics living under bridges who are bigger winners than Bob, since so many of them are too out of it to be this fucking miserable and bitter all the time.

Every time Bobbert. Every fucking time.

I see we're at the "intellect is an absolute virtue" garbage again. He can't keep the mask on for five seconds, can he?
