A massive ego mingled with a ton of self-loathing is really a pretty common combination. Thing is, although I know a lot of us are of the opinion Bob hates himself, we rarely actually see any evidence of it, other than what he's doing to his body. Instead we see enormous self-regard, and while that's to be expected for someone who's constantly puffing himself up on social media, the sheer derangement of it often feels pretty genuine.

I bet it has to be due to poor diet, no exercise, no working in a place where natural sunlight can get to, and a shit sleep schedule all while being in his late 30s. Granted we all certainly could do better to take care of ourselves which is why I don't shlack Bob too hard for being a fatass, but at some point one has to point out that a large chunk of it is his own fault and he can control it.

There's a difference though between a normal person and Bob when it comes to not taking care of themselves. A normal person can at least make the excuse that they have too much getting in the way of making healthy life decisions. They can blame it on the stress of working a full time job or raising a family. Granted, it's still nothing more than an excuse and they can still do better. But at least they have an excuse that is somewhat valid.

Bob on the other hand has no valid form of an excuse. Bob rolls his fat ass out of bed at four or five o'clock in the afternoon everyday of his miserable existence, and precedes to spend the rest of his day in a moldy basement typing away on Twitter about whatever stupid thought is passing through his mentally-impaired brain at the moment. This man could literally be an award-winning professional bodybuilder with the amount of free time he chooses to waste on frivolous shit.

I can understand Bob being miserable, in contrast to people working to the bone every day for shit pay. At least if you're in such a rut like that, you're contributing something to society.

Imagine spending all of your time playing Nintendo and sucking on your disgusting, cheeto-stained sausage fingers for nourishment.
