How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Oh no. Bob's not going to get "inspired" and subject us all to another hamhanded movie script treatment of a child's franchise being crossed with a deep, philosophical work of adult fiction, is he? Because his "Care Bears/Paradise Lost" crossover has to rank as the greatest Singularity of Autism ever produced by the human brain. (Psst, Bob, there's a reason ephemeral, commercially-driven kid's media tends to exist in its own cultural ghetto: it lacks deeper themes and timelessness, what with it being merely a product to hawk cheap plastic toys and/or video games.)

I seem to recall hearing Bob himself say in an early Game Overthinker, that child's media was primarily a stepping stone meant to hook young fans and gently guide them into more mature media as they developed into adulthood; that comic books and video games, once they went all dark and dudebro in the 90's, neglected their future audience in order to market to (and cash in on) their current, adult one. But sadly, the MovieBob that made that video is no more. He's been replaced with a deranged demagogue who wants to take children's media and gunk it up with highhanded, epistemological bullhonky, in order to make it more palatable to an adult audience. Because he doesn't want people to think there's something wrong with him for scrutinizing and obsessing over children's media, in the same way that the dudebros of the 90's didn't want people to think there was something wrong with them for scrutinizing and obsessing over children's media...
I always wondered if Bob has even read Paradise Lost. That poem and Care Bears sounds more like shitty fanfiction than a legitimate idea that could work.

Wut?!
Does Bobby even have a credit card of his own? Or is he on a supplementary card of his brother / folks?

I wouldn't be shocked if his family helped him establish some baseline good credit for him. They do everything else for him so why not help him with his credit score? I can't see any other way for him to have credit in the first place. Let alone good credit. He doesn't live on his own, and according to the OP the one time he did it went down south pretty fast.

Maybe he just had some small student loans he had to pay back after college and that's how he earned the credit. Though given his lackluster job history and what we know about his general management skills, I can't imagine Bob was the kind of person to make responsible monthly payments on his loans.

So Bob changed his YouTube picture where it’s no longer that ugly yellow picture of him doing the thumbs up. Can’t decide if this is more pretentious or not.
Remember when he tried to make fun of Razorfist for his clothing and using a BW filter?

I guess sunglasses are now Ok in the superior future because they help you with your "professional film critic" self-image.

Who wears sunglasses inside? Only obsolete indoor ogres.

I imaged Bob’s dressed up in his lame Mario costume tonight.

I'm sure you did buddy. As long as you remember to use lotion you can imaged Bob doing anything you want.

Man, I'm excited for Tuesday. Either we fix this country or Bob salts out like a fucker. Should we take bets on if he'll be able to take a few losses, or is he gonna lose his mind if any Republicans win any races?

So, someone do an insanity check on my logic, here, because it's trying to make sense of BobLogic, but...

Bob hates and detests "middle americans" in pretty much every respect.

Bob also hates and detests "middle america", the geography. He thinks the only proper living situation is urban sprawls with robots and temporary slaves running the farms, which is all he conceives of as being in the rest of the country.

How does BobLogic deal with the fact that the people he hates, would then be his neighbors? Shouldn't he want to keep us where we are?

His brain works in unusual ways, due to fat and diabetes. It's clear Bob's not the sharpest tool in the shed, so he makes up by being loud.

Yesterday I launched Edge and pointed it to The Escapist (all my other browsers are loaded with ad blockers) just to see what ads the Escapist might have, what kind of companies think funding Movie Bob Chipman's vicious bigotry is a good idea.

Result?

I'm not in the US, but even with Edge, the Escapist had zero ads apart from generic banners like "Switch to Chrome" and other junk that pays millicents. Maybe others can experiment and identify actual advertisers or even game companies and film PR teams still giving this violent hatemonger access. But it seems the Escapist is failing to attract any ads at all.

You learn quickly that the tenants and ideas of Bob's "superior future" are not only insane and illogical, but often flat out contradict one another.

I forget who it was that pointed this out, but someone on here said not too long ago about how Bob essentially wants all these "middle states" to collapse and be retaken by nature. At the same time, he also wants to move all these refugees, immigrants and minorities that he supposedly cares about to these states so these states could become "successful".

In other words: his ultimate end goal is for all these mid-west states he hates to both "succeed" and fail at the same time.

maybe bob wants the middle states to become tribal wilderness where the "savage" immigrants can farm in peace and deliver tribute to their overlords on the coast

I think he assumes that any middle american that moves to the coast will automatically "evolve" and see the light of the Glorious Superior Future. He has said several times that the people living in rural areas even though the jobs are disappearing are inferiors who fear having to compete with others over jobs, therefore anyone who moves to a big city from the country must NOT fear competing for jobs and therefore be a properly evolved human being.

Bob the Movie Bob's version of The Hunger Games would be like twenty fat Movie Bobs wailing in their own diapers, demanding to be fed and changed by The Escapist editors.

He mostly wears them to hide the fact that he's reading his lines off a teleprompter. Because memorizing the lines you wrote yourself is just too much work.

I'd thought a gladiator match between republicans and other non woke people to the death with the winner getting shot fits more with his endless rage

But he's also a narcissist. A deep and profound one. That's why he can disassociate so freely. He can scream, without irony, for the murder of conservatives and think he is a hero for being so brave. He's a lunatic basically.

He can also sneer at the vast, unthinking masses for being afraid to compete, when he himself could not compete in any field whatsoever. He wants to be a critic; his criticism is shallow and derivative and frequently twisted by his biases to a laughable degree. He wants to be a writer; his writing is patently atrocious. He wants to be a filmmaker; he barely qualifies as amateur. If he weren't a legacy YouTuber from the days when there weren't many reviewers like him, would he have any kind of audience at all?

Does the Escapist have some kind of premium subscription? Only click bait and a few YouTubers care about ads these days.

I thought he was wearing them to conceal the yellow corneas resulting from his failing liver.

That's what I thought as well. He started wearing them around the time when he first really started looking ill. It makes me wonder how many health problems he's successfully keeping hidden.

I have no idea, I spent like 1 minute on their Bob Chipman site. Maybe they do have a wonderful beautiful subscripion plan. I hope not, they should fail. It would be satisfying if the failure involved kicking Bob "I hate men" Chipman in the nuts.
