Oh no. Bob's not going to get "inspired" and subject us all to another hamhanded movie script treatment of a child's franchise being crossed with a deep, philosophical work of adult fiction, is he? Because his "Care Bears/Paradise Lost" crossover has to rank as the greatest Singularity of Autism ever produced by the human brain. (Psst, Bob, there's a reason ephemeral, commercially-driven kid's media tends to exist in its own cultural ghetto: it lacks deeper themes and timelessness, what with it being merely a product to hawk cheap plastic toys and/or video games.)
I seem to recall hearing Bob himself say in an early Game Overthinker, that child's media was primarily a stepping stone meant to hook young fans and gently guide them into more mature media as they developed into adulthood; that comic books and video games, once they went all dark and dudebro in the 90's, neglected their future audience in order to market to (and cash in on) their current, adult one. But sadly, the MovieBob that made that video is no more. He's been replaced with a deranged demagogue who wants to take children's media and gunk it up with highhanded, epistemological bullhonky, in order to make it more palatable to an adult audience. Because he doesn't want people to think there's something wrong with him for scrutinizing and obsessing over children's media, in the same way that the dudebros of the 90's didn't want people to think there was something wrong with them for scrutinizing and obsessing over children's media...
