"Intelligence is the only real virtue, ignorance is the root of all evil."
*sigh*
I know Bob only means that in a circular and Manichaean "Intelligence=Good and Good=Intelligence so therefore only Good people are Intelligent and all Intelligent people are good" way but still.
As both Me and many others pointed out the last time Bob sperged about this going by pure IQ alone many of the Nazi higher ups were outright Geniuses.
The same could be said of any number of the worst Dictators, Tyrants, and Conquerors throughout history.
I mean there are plenty of Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Researchers et cetera who vote Republican. I guess according to Bob all those people are retarded and he Bob Chipman the overweight virginal nerd who lives in a basement is smarter and more moral than them.
In fact I would bet you anything that Trump is smarter than Bob on any measurable Intelligence indicator.
We can go back farther too. Mitt Romney went to Harvard for his MBA.
Even Dubya went to Yale for his Undergraduates and to Harvard for his MBA.
But according to Bob they're all idiots and their Ignorance is the "Root of all Evil". Not like all those people in the Entertainment Industry who all Supremely Intelligent and Paragons of Morality...According to Bob.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Bob wasn't...Well Bob he would actually be kind of scary.

I can hear bob huffing his own farts as he wrote this. Its amazing just how arrogant Bob is considering how stupid he is. He is constantly outwitted by even the dumbest of people, and his arguments are almost always shallow or strawmen. Bob is one of the dumbest people on the internet.

The above is really funny given that he posted this only a few minutes before
bob-endorphine-png.596842

What does the enlightened Bob think to do with those who don't think like him? Of course the answer is to hate them blindly because surely they hate you and vote the way they do out of pure spite, so you should vote against them out of pure spite, because that helps everybody! Bob would be more infuriating if he weren't so pathetic.

Remember that intelligence is the only virtue. Side note; knowing the actual definition of words isnt intelligence.

Why does BootlegGirl put a space after every W?

Do Trump supporters really believe he will make them rich? The few Trump supporters I've talked to seem to believe that they will end up with a little bit extra in their paychecks, not throwing dollar bills around like a rap video.

I can kind of see Bob's point about white collar workers not being lumped in with "the bourgeoise", but maybe if he didn't believe in Marxism to begin with he wouldn't be in this mess.

I think Bob must be reading the thread because as many have said, he will be first to face the firing squad if his glorious future came to pass. Like many communist types, he's trying to paint himself as one of "the proletariat". What's tragic though is that Bob is only one of "the bourgeoise" because of his own lies. He's spent the last few years trying to talk himself up as one of the intellectual elite, a "pop culture commentator" living in a "basement apartment" despite all evidence pointing to him being the kind of "angry white nerd living in his parents basement" he claims to despise. Suddenly the intellectual pop culture critic in his fancy apartment now means he's working class because that's today's most convenient stick to beat those that don't agree with him politically.

TL;DR Bob is trying to claim to be both working class and one of the cultural and intellectual elite. If that's true, then what is his Marxist revolution against exactly?

Against his own Diabetes.

I asked a friend what he thought about Bob's maxim, and he believed that it was nonsensical because intelligence and ignorance aren't direct opposites. While ignorance is used as a synonym for stupidity, which is the true opposite if intelligence, I see it as more an opposite to knowledge. Additionally, everyone is knowledgable in certain fields while ignorant in others like how you wouldn't expect an astrophysicist to perform brain surgery. So what--pray, tell--is the criterion for ignorance in Bob's delusional world? His own knowledge of science, history, politics, and every topic he offers an opinion on is nonexistent. Hell, his knowledge on the field he claims to be an expert in (popular culture) is shaky at best.

He can trash Middle America all he wants, but the ugly truth is that they people he hates as "ignorant" hicks likely have a wealth of knowledge and skills Bob lacks. Does he know anything about indoor plumbing, automotive repair, or architecture? I don't think so. He should stick to critiquing films, which he can at least bullshit enough to not sound like a complete moron.

Is Bobby suggesting that those "worthless" and "irredeemably evil" people he harps on and on are as real as Bigfoot?

Bobby sure gets a lot of endorphin rushes from othering and hurting people. I wonder why he isn't billionaires like many American conservatives.

"Bourgeois" is someone who owns the means of production and generates wealth through the labor of others; whether they are "top property owners" or not is not part of the definition. BTW: if you agree with someone whose screen name is "Extra Bootleg Dumbledore", you have a problem.

I think Bob must be reading the thread because as many have said, he will be first to face the firing squad if his glorious future came to pass. What Bobby wants the most is to absolve his idols -- MCU, Hollywood, Hillary Rodham etc -- of the cardinal sin of being bourgeois oppressors. Bobby himself is a lumpen (and a lump).

TL;DR Bob is trying to claim to be both working class and one of the cultural and intellectual elite. If that's true, then what is his Marxist revolution against exactly?
Bobby demonstrates no class solidarity, spits on the genuine working class, and yearns for the technological takeover of labor. This makes him an anti-revolutionary destined for the gulag.

He should stick to critiquing films, which he can at least bullshit enough to not sound like a complete moron.

I don't know how much of that is a new thing.

Warhammer was always a magnet for idiots and spergs. Even during the days of 2nd edition people seemed to be more interested in arguing over lists and making excuses than playing the game and painting the models. The RPG community seems to be made up almost entirely of grognards who do nothing but complain.

But when it comes to board games all that stuff stays online as anyone who spergs out quickly finds themselves not invited to games.

Bob once made a video about how he agreed with Magneto. If I remember it right, he didn't agree on any philosophical level, but if he had powers he'd use them to get revenge on the people who wronged him.

Yeah, true on that one. At least the community itself weeds out the spergs, because not even them want to play with other spergs. They don't tolerate each other's buttfuckery

But back on the point of Bob and superpowers. I don't understand how Bob likes Spider Man and the "With great power, comes great responsability", because Bob once did a review about certain movie. The movie was about a teen that gets superpowers and inmediately gets infatuated with the power, taking revenge on all those who wronged him and eventually destroying himself for abusing his powers. Bob was giddy like a teenage girl while looking at the movie and instead of learning the lesson of the movie (If you abuse power in any form you will end up destroying yourself) he thought it was an empowering movie about taking down bullies and how the world should deal with them. And if he was in the same situation, he would do the same. I love to see him being a hypocrite. He's the only person i don't get pissed at for being a filthy hypocrite because he's a dumb fuck.

And due to being a dumb fuck, it's normal that Bob is completely wrong about pretty much everything he talks about. I'm willing to bet that he doesn't even know how money is made or the process of scientific research. Not understanding what the "Burguois" are is just the lesser concern with him, because he's too dumb to see that he and all his idols are the burguois.

Also, i wonder if he has ever read Marx. Anyone knows anything about this?

I think he would be put in front of a firing squad before that even happened. With no studies, no specialization nor experience in anything useful, he would be either sent to an iron factory/heavy industry or to become a meat shield for the red army. Both things he's unfit and he abhors

To provide a visual metaphor how Easter Block viewed NEETs of the yesteryear.

You don't even have to know the language to get the message.

If you think about it, Bob is just like those guys from the Hitchhiker's Guide who sent their entire 'lesser' working class into space in an attempt to improve civilization.

They all died and the working class met humanity instead.

Don't forget how Bob loves to portray his profession:
upload_2018-11-20_7-29-47.jpeg

Doesn't he understands that intelligence and ignorance are not antonyms? A man can be quite knowledgeable and not very intelligent. Or very ignorant and quite smart.

Then again his concepts come from "I took classes, therefore I am an intellectual."

This so much, but people these days tend to forget the true meaning of words. It always happens with time and retards like Bob.
But for him Intelligence is only high education and pop culture, when mos definetly a hillbilly from Louisiana is far more intelligent and knowledgable than him.

So according to Bob, a character like Hannibal Lecter is a virtuous character?

Only if he votes for Hillary.

Not that I disagree with this, but..

It originally referred to the upper middle class, pretty much anyone who wasnt old money and became semi-wealthy through entrepreneurship. Over time that class of people became super wealthy thanks to the industrial revolution and started rivaling or exceeding the old gentry in terms of money. But bourgeoisie is still used today to describe the middle class that has very recognizable patterns of consumption and behavior which basically amounts to acting richer and more cultured than they are.

You would think that Bob would've seen or at least heard of The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie which nails those sort of people down to a T. Of course he hasn't and will instead sperg about the use of a word he doesnt know the historical context or working definition of.

I've never viewed ignorance as a negative trait per se (wait for Bob to take THAT out of context, lulz). It's a state of affairs, not a moral failing.

As a friend of mine put it, a Zulu tribesman wouldn't know how to do my job, but put me in the Serengeti and in fifteen minutes I'll be looking for a 7-11, assuming the lions don't get me first.

Stupidity, on the other hand, is a failing. It's refusing to admit ignorance or error. One of the big stepping stones in maturity is admitting your own fallibility; the prospect that you could be wrong.

So of course Bob doesn't grasp that.
