God this statement is groanworthy, it’s no different than hipsters who claim American food is terrible because they think McDonalds and Hot dogs is the entirely of American cuisine.
Texas and Louisiana are red states. Texas is extremely famous for its barbecue and for Tex Mex, which is a unique blend of Mexican and American food not normally found in part of the world other than Texas(most good “Mexican” food that Americans claim to like is actually Tex Mex) San Antionio alone has several restaurants that get lines out the door and down the street. Included a ramen joint.
Then you have Lousinana, which is home to New Orleans. If you honestly think Cajun cooking and Louisiana seasoning(Tobasco anyone?) is low quality, you are insane. Cajun food is the most unique American cooking there is, and no other country or state has an equivalent to that delicious spice filled French-swamp creation.
And neither is even bringing up southern states and their soul foods. Cakes, biscuits, omelets, and stews that are simply divine.
Yeah. Red states may not have the media attention NY or CA, but to claim the red states only eat canned pasta is simply retarded.
