God this statement is groanworthy, it’s no different than hipsters who claim American food is terrible because they think McDonalds and Hot dogs is the entirely of American cuisine.

Texas and Louisiana are red states. Texas is extremely famous for its barbecue and for Tex Mex, which is a unique blend of Mexican and American food not normally found in part of the world other than Texas(most good “Mexican” food that Americans claim to like is actually Tex Mex) San Antionio alone has several restaurants that get lines out the door and down the street. Included a ramen joint.

Then you have Lousinana, which is home to New Orleans. If you honestly think Cajun cooking and Louisiana seasoning(Tobasco anyone?) is low quality, you are insane. Cajun food is the most unique American cooking there is, and no other country or state has an equivalent to that delicious spice filled French-swamp creation.

And neither is even bringing up southern states and their soul foods. Cakes, biscuits, omelets, and stews that are simply divine.

Yeah. Red states may not have the media attention NY or CA, but to claim the red states only eat canned pasta is simply retarded.

Bill said it as a joke, he’s a comedian. He gets a pass. But Bob is taking his joke as a gospel truth, and that is just exceptional

Bob thinks that people who don't live in a super-metropolis aren't human, but some kind of chimpanzee that's learned how to wear clothes and imitate language.
A good way to understand Bob's worldview is to read the works of a 19th-century racial supremacist, and then substitute "rural" for "Negro", "Republican" for "Jew", and "centrist" for "Irish".

And even with that mentality, the hillbilly swamp people and the crazy cowboys have better tasting food and more famous food than the entirely of Massachusetts and most of the US in general.

Like let's even forget for a second he only means white people; where the fuck does he think "traditionally black" food comes from and was inspired by? The irony of a bloated pig not knowing the first thing about American eats.

I mean, the statement itself is puzzling. It’s either saying republican states have no class, or that republican states are all poor.
Even though red states house many of America’s most successful companies. Coca Cola, Exxon Mobile, AT&T, gasp CNN, Chrysler the list goes on. The people in a lot of these states do more manual labor than the coastal cities, but they aren’t poor areas. Hell, NASA is in Alabama

Once again, 19th-century racial supremacist. Either that great food is and always has been the product of the Master Race, or it's actually garbage. See how Great Zimbabwe was originally claimed to be an incredible monument made by noble Aryans who had journeyed upriver all the way from the Med and had had a wondrous and glorious culture until those savage Negros killed them and stole it all. When archaeological evidence emerged very clearly pointing to Great Zimbabwe having been made by the native peoples, the exact same people immediately declared it to be a bunch of rude, animalistic burrows of no significance.

On a side note, this was actually why Adolf Hitler hated archaeology: he viewed any discoveries that the Germanic peoples were primitive at any step of their civilization, instead of springing from the soil as a race of wise hero-kings, as direly dangerous to the Nazi ideology.

Forget Different Country. There is a reason so many Video Game Studios maintain a branch in Texas. That's where they transfer all the work to at the first sign of Union Recruiting efforts. Video Game Development is the most portable industry there is. You can base it anywhere that has electricity and internet. And currently the Right to Work States have a higher and cheaper standard of living.

I thought honestly Black Panther deserves the wins for Costume and Production Design, not sure why it won for score though.

I'm not sure since I've never heard of Green Book before today. My gut feeling is it just being angry at BP losing and having a fetish for black people.
