How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Hank Hill freaked out because George Bush's handshake was too limp but he'd vote for Beto O'Rourke lol

Has Bob ever watched any of the shows he discusses?

Bob genuinely thinks the guy whose identity was based around propane and propane accessories would be all in for any candidate who wants to kill natural gas mining.

"Galaxy brain" doesn't begin to describe it.

Dear god, just no. None of that works or makes sense within the shows. It's like one of those cracked fanfictions, where the band of adventures are now elementary school kids and the evil overlord is a grumpy next door neighbor running for mayor. This is just insane.

Next up, green acres, but instead of a farmer and his socialite wife, it's now two black sisters who make LSD in their attic in an urban Atlanta neighborhood. Followed by Dukes of Hazard, but the brothers are now gay lover's starting a prius dealership in Seattle.

Presenting the "Holographic AI is the same as a magical Genie" premise unironically can't even be described as a boomer take.
It's like a WW2 generation take.
The level of blind religious faith that Blob has for technology is such a part of his delusional worldview.
How does it even survive? Hasn't Bob tested this theory out?

Bob: G.e.n.i.e.! Make me thin and attractive!
G.E.N.I.E.: Here are the directions to your nearest 24 Hour Fitness and a link to buy 'How To Make Friends and Influence People'.
Bob: Dagnabbit! Why isn't this blasted contraption working! *spitooo!*

It’s incredibly ironic how much he puts his faith into science and technology while also ragging on people in religions. Hell I’d bet he would sacrifice something if it had a 100% guarantee of making it reality.

We're not at peacetime? Who does Bob think he's at war with? Xbox? Trump?

Either way, it's the first war fought entirely by idiots on Twitter. The #Trenches.

According to Bob, doesn't knowing someone's race, gender, and political leaning enough to make a judgement on their value as human beings? Why should we care about his circumstances when he has all that privilege? For example.

But MY circumstances!
he is at war with greasy good

Ugh, as a King of the Hill fan, Bob's take on the show is just utterly disgusting.

He probably hasn't even watched the show outside of old YTP's and reading a few wiki articles.

Also, Arlen isn't depicted as gritty in the 70's in any flashbacks.

The only flashback to the 70's that depicts a gritty crime-ridden hellhole on the show is the flashbacks to Hank and the crew going to Dallas before Bill ships out for basic training. Also, Bob probably doesn't know that 1970's Dallas was a run-down crime-ridden place in real life,.

Considering that King of the Hill is a "Slice of Life" show entirely focused on small-town Southerners and is apolitical with only a few exceptions, I always thought Bob would utterly despise the show since all the sympathetic characters are "obsolete" in his eyes.

I share your disgust.

I am not sure you could really pull off a show like KotH without it seeming cringy

I am not the biggest KOTH fan but Hank would not vote for any of the democrat candidates. He'd likely vote independent or for Trump. Bobby looks like the average Bernie fan, so I don't get the Warren hype.

Then again this is Bob who thought Mario and Link would side with him during Gamergate as though they were real people.

Whats King of the Hill all about

The absurdities of modern suburbia and the conflict between Traditionalism and Change

How would you reboot that without ripping off Modern Family?

I mean you don’t reboot it at all, but make a sequel series with Bobby taking Hank’s place as the one to deal with the shenanigannery around you, His kid would be like him as to pass down his own experiences and the lessons he learned from his father, while also still being the fun parent if Bobby is (still) married to Connie OR go with the single dad route with a widowed or divorced Bobby, challenging him in something unfamiliar to how he was raised with the occasional help of friends and family.

Now if you really wanna reboot it and not make it a copy-paste show and to not be cringe, that’s just fallout impossible since it’s suppose, as you say, a conflict of Traditionalism and Change (which with today’s social climate on the Internet, people are just going to root for Change even when it’ll negatively affect others in the long run).

Like if you do a "Next Generation" Angle you could actually do Luanne as the central protagonist [Widowed since Lucky died ] and her Kids.

Bobby being a 20 something unable to get a real job following the collapse of college living in her basement as the man of the house

Joseph as a fusion of His Dad [Dale] and Boomhower. He and Connie have a kid but they broke up

Connie is a successful real estate sales person, and she and Bobbie are dating [but she is kind of ashamed of him]

Saying things like going to school wasnt fun because of his classmates, and stuff about him being taken out of class for problems.

Is this guy really 65 and still complaining about being bullied in school?

Blob, woke AF official ally, wants a show about a fem AI that is subservient to a man?

I like when Blob shows his true nature.

Bob would eventually drive G.E.N.I.E. to pull a HAL9000 and kill him.

Deep inside the slimy abyssal pit that laughably passes for Bob's soul, he knows that only a woman who was programmed without a functioning sense of disgust will ever touch him. Hence, his desire for a future with AIs, humanoid robots, etc. The starships are a bit harder to explain.

I like how you think, and maybe Bobby could get a job that suits him or, after hitting a rough patch (maybe Connie breaking up with him for Chane Wassanasong (or really her parents set up their relationship)), get his act together and go to a community college to enter a trade or work to get back into college, not to mention that just because he’s living in her basement he can’t help around the house or raising the kids (unlike some cows we know here).

I do see potential of single mother Luanne being a likable or sympathetic character since she is rather slow and she’ll definitely be struggling with providing for the family and working to stay afloat in current year. I’d still like to see old Hank and Peggy in biker gear and visiting them in their retirement sometimes, occasionally giving Bobby a stern talking about getting his life together by getting a job or joining the military like Bill (and also helping him accomplish it).

Man, we’re doing a better job of reboot ideas than Bob does, though that’s not saying much.

The starships are a mix of fantasy and delusions of grandeur.

“If Star Trek was real, I would be in it and I would be the omnipotent AI whose wisdom would guide humanity for generations to come.”

I want to resist derailing this further into King of the Hill talk but...

Hank would not like Trump, because how can you trust a man who eats his steak well done with ketchup, ketchup. But he wouldn't be Trump deranged and like some of the things he's doing. If he'd supported anyone, it would have to be a moderate democrat like Tulsi Gabbard. Peggie would defiantly be for Warren just due to how similar they are. How the fuck Bob missed that one up is beyond me. Bobbie would like Trump because of how funny he is. Dale would support McAfee because of his standoffs with the CIA. Joseph would secretly become "red pilled" and support Richard Spencer, calling people online cucks.

The Khans would support Beto purely to network with elite Texas democrats. There could be a whole plotline of the Khans trying to get Connie to work on the Beto campaign just to network and build a name for herself with the local dems, but she and Bobbie (convincing him with Neetbux platform) campaign for Andrew Yang.
