Found one of the Discovery Channel Future Shows from back in the day, Beyond 2000.
there's a few more shows but I'm still not finding all that much from the late 80's to early 90's(i'm curious if some of these could be considered lost media, usually I can at least find bumpers to stuff but those are not even turning up). There's still old PBS stuff I'm pretty sure he's watched and TLC stuff back when they were actually The Learning Channel.
But yeah Bob thinks he was special and a superior human because he watched educational programming instead of normal TV shows. This is like someone thinks he's a super genius because he watched Little Einsteins growing up.
Also do you think bob likes The Mandalorean even though all the "toxic fans" like RLM have given it positive reviews, or does he hate it because it shits all over his precious Reylo by stealing the spotlight?

That reminds me, Bobs none stop ranting against obsolete mayonnaise ghouls on how much better he is for making youtube videos ends up being a lot funnier when it turns out said obsoletes are able to make a more successful youtube channel then he will even achieve it his life time
For those not in the know there's this youtube channel that's been making the news for a bit now called the
Millennial Farmer that has managed to get a little over 400k subscribers in just under 4 years with most videos breaking 300k views (compare that to bob's almost 14 year old channel that at its peak was just under 146k and has been stagnate at 144k for months now and even on the escapists channel he's lucky if his videos reach 40k views)

You could make the argument the “pop culture criticism” and “video game/movie review” YouTube markets arr saturated and it’s hard for even well established content creators to grow their channels. There is only so much content people can watch. (Fuck I don’t watch any of this shit, I never watch YouTube or twitch streams because I have kids, a demanding job, travel, play video games...who the fuck has time to watch this shit or listen to podcasts?)
I don’t think that’s the case with Robert, though. His videos, from what I’ve seen here, are just god awful. The production value is terrible, his “characters” are unfunny, and his galaxy takes are horrible. He’s not good at creating content and his reviews are a joke. He’s reached the limit of idiots who consume garbage YouTube content.

Robert was around long before the glut of geek culture/pop culture critic/entertainment reviewer youtubers and had his profile raised by big names and platforms plenty of times to stand out from the crowd. That's the only reason he's as big as he is. He's as small as he is because, as you said, his content is shit. If he'd started in 2017 after the algorithm changed he'd be one of those minor channels EFAP mocks occasionally run be weirdos with bad editing skills who have a few hundred subs, over half of whom watch them to laugh at them.

As exceptional as Robert is, his fans are actual short bus levels of exceptional. They seem to be incapable of comprehending the most obvious, straightforward facts about things that are happening right in front of their faces. Bob is dumb. Part of home ownership is that you do a few small repairs every year, and you never wait until something is completely busted to fix it. This way, the costs are spread out, and you don't get boned by an emergency. Even those immaculate Victorian houses still need yearly repairs, every single one would go full Detroit by 2024 if people stopped working on them.
